I am so glad I contacted Peter for help with 'grandfather.' At very short notice Peter arrived to help and advise me. Peter has fully reconditioned my clock, this had not been done for at lease 60 years professionally. At all times Peter kept me informed of his progress and future recommendations to consider. When Peter returned my clock to its new resting place, it was obvious to see how much pride Peter takes in his work. Additionally Peter had taken the time to research the maker and give me a brief insight to its history. Peter works to a very high standard, takes the greatest of care and pride in his work. Peter has serviced four old clocks for us. Non had been looked at for 50 year and I doubt either had been serviced before. We now have all four back in position looking and sounding very happy, ticking and chiming away. They bring the house alive and we are thrilled.Peter was very professional and considerate throughout and offers a full years guarantee on all his work, which is great. Now all we have to do is wined them correctly and all should be well until the next service in ten years time.

I have a grandfather clock that was made in 1766 and had not been serviced since 1966. Peter has done a fine job of restoring it to its former glory and it is now ticking along nicely. It is keeping time perfectly. Peter was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional at all times. Highly recommended.

John Swinburne of Hexham first made our clock about 1729. It fell down stairs and was badly damaged. I contacted Peter who has restored it to full working order. It is impressive to say the least - nearly 300 years old and keeps great time. (Bought in memory of my brother)
