This is used by various organisations for group meetings but the main organisation running the place is the Stockport society for the Deaf so the verbal instrutions as you enter the building may seem to be a bit incongruous. There are three meeting rooms available for use, with two upstairs accessible by stairs or lift. The larger of the two having a proper kitchen off it whilst the other has a mini bar area (closed when I've been). The facilities seem to be well maintained and clean.

My first experience with this place started with a rude and aggressive woman who asked me to park my bicycle somewhere else and she expected me to obey her without even knowing her. Then the door was open and I went inside, and pushed the other door and opened it and that women shouted at me why I opened the door and I had to ring the bell. But there was no sign. And at the end they expected me to apologize! Ridiculous!

I go to the deaf club to meet more deaf people and practice my signing. The people are so friendly and welcoming. They are so supportive. So glad I found this place.
