First visit today for a family swim And was not impressed. The lady at reception clearly looked liked she didn’t want to be there . Not even a hello.Lots of changing room space but family changing isn’t the best , dirty nappies left on the sides floors where filthy.Got into the small pool was very cool, and the baby corner was very cold too and didn’t look very clean.

It’s a ok place for families as it has swimming and gym both facilities Avalible at same time. Has a large car park so you don’t need to worry about parking issues. It’s next to the park and is accessible from both sides front and back where back is the park side and front is avenue Road. The gym is not a decent size but a small area which is ok but not the best compare to pure gym which seems massive in comparison with that of Pingles. Plus it’s not 24/7 so you should keep timing in mind when planing for visit.

After the trauma of the website not working so you call, can’t book over phone have to down load app, can’t just download app and book you have to register, register and then book- took an hour! What happened to just turning up and paying and if it’s full then tough!Receptionist ignored us- on the phone and rather than look up and smile just stared at us. Walked strait in (gate was open and no one questioned us). I had booked and paid but now wish I hadn’t bothered if these are the security measures!Lockers filthy inside and out.Stepping over (what looked like) stagnant puddles of water on the floor. We cleared the baby changing of old nappies.Baby pool; green ring all around the edge. Did not go in there! Went into main (small/ family) pool and this looked better. Will 100% not be revisiting.

Great swimming programme and very popular. Only issue is trying to get a space when your child needs to move up. I've been waiting four months for a place!

The pool area isn't the cleanest by early evening, and usually smells pretty bad. The swimming lessons are oversubscribed and my son just stagnated week after week without any useful feedback from the teachers. Since moving elsewhere he's come on leaps and bounds. On the plus side it's cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Everyone active booking system can be frustrating. Any pools around in the UK not owned by them at this point?

Not the best, not the worst honestly.Positives:Decent gym, decent sized pool, membership isn't too expensive and the car park is sufficient. Lots of tread mills and cycles available. Their booking app is good and easy to use.Negatives:Cleanliness in locker rooms needs to be taken care of. People leave the benches and floor wet and no one to mop it. The pool is almost always overcrowded. The booking system is weird, there's not enough time slots for lane swimming and public swimming and all good time slots are for 'swimming lessons'. The overcrowding of the pool can be managed better by making more slots for lane swimming available instead of focusing completely on swimming lessons. Most of the gym equipment is rusted and old. The gym is a bit congested as well.

Very cheap gym especially since I haven’t paid for it in about 6 years. If you walk up the stairs with confidence either the side gate is left open or you can easily squeeze past the barrier. Alternatively just borrow another members card saying that you went to the toilet and forgot to take your card with you. Has worked for 6 years staff just think I’m a regular.
