It’s so wonderful that places like this exist. I bought a piece of belly pork yesterday and treated it to 4 1/2 hours in the slow cooker on a bed of veg, honey, mustard and a little stock, then 15 mins in a hot air fryer to crisp the skin. I wish I could work out how to upload photos, it is absolutely sublime!

Gav and team know their stuff! Meats and cuts are exceptional, pies and scotch eggs are amazing. Plenty of rubs, potions, pickles and sauces too!

Visited the shop yesterday. Amazing, welcoming staff and a fabulous selection of meats on display.We had the black garlic beef kebabs for tea and they were amazing!!A flavour I have never come across before and the beef was really juicy. can't wait to try my other purchases.

Visited yesterday, what a lovely warm welcome from the owners, we bought some sliced beef which was cooked to perfection and some thick pork sausages- we cooked these tonight for us and the kids and they absolutely loved them. Fair pricing for top notch meat we will definitely be back!

Called in on opening day. Shop was already full and had a lovely friendly welcoming atmosphere. Bought some steak which we've had tonight, I likemine blue but had a taste as it was sitting on the board waiting for a quick sizzle in the pan it was superb, melted like butter. Couldn't resist a steak pie straight out of the oven which I ate in the car while it was still warm, best pie ever, super pastry and lush filling.....will absolutely be back

I travel over from brighouse, its definitely worth it, the beef steaks and mince are so much better than supermarket rubbish, they're actually edible haha & delicious! You can eat the fat on the steak,it's not just rubber.

We live locally so walked up to get just enough for a breakfast for two..... Wish I had doubled it as I didn't want it to end. Amazing sausage and smoked streaky bacon butty. Friendly and hard working staff. Will be back and trying all that's to offer and the pies are top draw!

Very well run butchers with a great selection of meat and importantly the cajun sausages and pork scratchings! Well done, also enjoyed the rib eye steak and lamb chops.

Banging bangers. Superb staff.Amazing range for such a boutique sized butcher.My wife is very particular about sausages but she loved these.
