Poplars Farm Caravanning, Camping, Glamping site & holiday cottage

Loved our stay in the pods at poplars farm. Lovely setting and great location. The pods are clean and well equipped. The personal shower and toilet rooms are a great facility to go with them. Looking forward to visiting again in the future

Honestly myself and partner can not recommend this place enough. We stayed 3 nights and wished we stayed more. It was a small break for my birthday and my gf called ahead without me knowing and asked if it was possible for the room to be decorated and a cake to be bought. We arrived with the pod decorated and a homemade birthday cake. Loveliest couple running the place and we will be returning, if you’re reading this I highly recommend you come yourselves

A lovely little farm with camping facilities.It's not overly busy and doesn't host too many people in one go.Found on a tiny crossroads do look out for the sign.Pop up to the conservatory on arrival.There are pitches for caravans and also 3 pods. 2 of which are dog friendly.No sink in the pod.There is an outside sink area to wash up in and for water.Microwave and fridge, plus kettle in the pod.There's also a small building with a shower and a toilet in.Each pod has their own designated toilet and shower.The pods have beautiful views over fields.It's a 10 minute drive to Ashbourne.My only criticism would be is that a new mattress needs to be put in the pod, rather than a large slab of foam which is bad for people's backs and causes too much heat.Also there is a £10 per day pod cleaning charge.If you're lucky you'll get to meet the friendly cat.....

Great budget place to stay.Very clean facilities and clean glamping pod.Dog friendly so perfect for us.Peaceful and remote.Each pod has its own fire pit and bbq bit unfortunately it was raining during our stay.The bed was not the comfiest, however this is a budget glamping pod and not a posh hotel.Thank you for your custom, and for the sweeties which we midnight feasted on :)

Stayed in one of the beautiful pods with my daughter and little dog.This was my first visit to the Peak District and I can highly recommend staying at Poplars farm.We had a very warm welcome upon arrival.Location is very easy to find with so much space for my little dog to run around.Pods are beautiful, warm and comfortable.Everything is very clean with each pod having a private shower and toilet.We will be back again in the spring to enjoy another break. We had a lovely 3 nights stay at this beautiful site, very clean and well kept site with beautiful panoramic views, Sara and Peter were very welcoming and helpful recommending the Black Horse pub where we enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch. We had a day in Belper getting the bus from just outside the site. Thank you Sara and Peter for your hospitality. We will no doubt be back.

Just back after spending 3 nights. Enjoyed thoroughly, a quiet place with stunning views. Clean and although only 1 shower we never had to queue. Owners very friendly.

Excellent site owners very friendly and helpful stayed with our motorhome showers wash up toilets all excellent nothing was a problem to them would highly recommend our 1st stay but not our last !!! A big thankyou.

Stayed in one of the pods for a long weekend. The Pods are basically mini hotel rooms! It has everything you need including a bbq and firepit out the front.There are also separate showers and toilets for each pod.Owners are lovely, welcoming and very helpful.Location was great, very peaceful.Will definitely be visiting again!
