We visited late afternoon on a Wednesday. Very welcoming staff. Food was outstanding. We watched a few videos on social media previously to wet our appetite and we couldn't help to try a bit of everything. Highlights were the Kyiv fries, gochujang wings and chicken burgers. Chicken was so tender, juicy and full of flavour. The crumb on the burger was immense. I had one with brie and onion marmalade. Incredible! Highly recommend Eat the Bird. Cocktails were made to perfection too.

First time visit and it won’t be my last. One of the best burgers I have had in a while. Personally I loved the setting. Simple, clean and comfortable. The menu isn’t overwhelming like you get with a lot places. Really friendly staff. Our server couldn’t do enough for us. Might not be important to some but I enjoyed the music as well. I Shazam’d 2 or 3 songs while I was there. Value for money and tasty food. I had a vanilla shake and it was delicious. Don’t go to fat hippo, choose Eat the bird!

A hidden gem on St Mary St. Great selection of food on the menu, with plenty of mains, sides and extras. The burgers and tenders were excellent, portions large and prices very fair. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! Staff very polite and friendly, can’t wait to visit again soon!

Awesome birthday dinner for my son. Excellent food as always - we've now been to all 3 restaurants and they are consistently excellent. Lovely layout in Cardiff, super friendly staff, and the Xmas burger specials were *chef's kiss*

Can’t tell you how unreal the food is here! Not to mention the portion sizes for the prices. All fresh and so tasty the best place I’ve EVER been too. When you look at the pictures online or the burgers they literally do look like this in real life. My mouth watered the whole time and we barely walked out we were so full. PS, cocktail was beautiful.Dan and Kate in particular were so lovely. Very helpful and chatty. Nothing beats friendly and happy staff. We will be back ASAP. Thank you so much. Best burgers in town for sure!

Great service, food was lovely, however the Christmas cluck did not have much flavour on it and the cranberry sauce seemed to be dumbed all in one place.Other than that chicken was cooked lovely, mac and cheese with chicken was nice and Louisiana chips were good too. Also had free wings which were extremely tasty!Would recommend to come here.

The staff were friendly and helpful, service with a smile is always a major up point. The food was generously good size. The burgers just look like the pictures on the website, we all know it almost never looks the same like other places. Everything was full of flavour and chicken wings were moist. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Great chicken, the kimchi chicken burger is a great combination, and great wings too. Fries arrived a little colder than I would have liked but the rest of the food was outstanding, and the service was great.
