Nice staff, clean, doesn't smell (unlike Citadel swimming pool) and good for a casual swim or anything else you might prefer like aquafit, lanes etc.

Visited the Community Gymnasium at the pool.Equipment is modern and the cost is moderate.There is a lack of trained personnel at the gym, this could be supplemented with staff rotated from the Citadel on certain days and times. I am sure this would be welcomed by my fellow attendees.On the other hand the swimming pool is well staffed by top class and well trained Lifeguards.

Nice pool but outdated. Very limited showering facilities. My daughter attends for swim lessons and the teachers are good but the washing facilities are poor.

Took my 9 year old boys and they loved it. Went at 2pm and was very quiet so it was perfect. Open showers to rinse off , with a private shower and toilets in the changing room. Staff helpful and very friendly.One large pool and a baby pool beside it with floats etc, supervised with lifeguard

I take my 15 month old baby boy often , and he loves it. He loves it even better when it is quiet so he can move about. The gym is great also , but the gym is very small and it is better to get in nice and early. The Ayr pool is amazing. I am thinking Irvine pool might be worth a visit.

Nice pool and friendly staff. Didn't give 5 stars as lack of private showers in dressing rooms (only one) not ideal.

Helpful and polite staff though a bit busy on the day we visited. Buggy parking area in the spectator section with locks for the buggies is very useful though no village/family changing. Remember to bring an extra £1 coin if you need to use buggy parking, but it's refunded same as the lockers.
