Edgbaston Private Medical Practice

I was away on holiday and unable to get into a NHS GP as the blockage of my ears was not considered an emergency! I was unable to hear much and was very disorientated. I never thought about contacting a private GP before and I was go glad I did. The very kind receptionist was able to offer me an appointment within a day and my problem was resolved that day with a syringing process. My hearing was back. Dr. Bahia, was just brilliant, calm, not hurried, friendly and gentle with me. I cannot recommend this practice enough.

Dr. Bahia is an excellent GP. I managed to secure a next day appointment for my son and he diagnosed the problem and prescribed medication that worked immediately. There’s plenty of parking outside the surgery and the staff are friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending this surgery and will definitely book again if needed.

Whilst on a business trip in Birmingham I was in need of a GP. After a quick call to a family friend and a google search I was pencilled in super quickly. A stranger to the city, the reception staff were super friendly and efficient and made my visit very comfortable with their warm and accomdating approach. I was then seen by Dr Bahia who was super professional and swift with his diagnosis and treatment plan, an exceptional example of a GP. Highly recommend the practice, as a visitor in the city, a doctors visit in an unknown city can be daunting. Definitely not in this case, these guys know exactly what they are doing!

Excellent medical practice offering great service in Birmingham. Dr Bahia is polite, approachable and very caring. He has looked after our family with evidence-based advice and treatment for the past nearly 10 years. The practice staff is courteous and thoughtful to the need of patients. My experience at the clinic was as expected. I attended for hayfever treatment, which had worked within the time period allocated. I can finally enjoy the summer.

This practice was a waste of time and day light robbery. I would not recommend.Took my little girl who has been sick for over a week, who’s been having a persistent fever and has been crying her eyes out due to her ears, couldn’t get gp appointment and A&E was 8 hr wait that morning so decided to go private. When she was seen at this practice we were told she’s “fine” and it’s just viral and that her ears seemed fine. Feeling in my gut something was not right we finally got an appointment at an urgent care centre that evening, the doctor there was not dismissive and very thorough, she informed us that my daughter does have an ear infection (middle ear) which the “doctor” at the Edgbaston private medical practice failed to notice. A day on antibiotics and my daughter is already looking so much better.
