Went last night to watch England vs Argentina. Was really good until half way through the 2nd half when they decided to let the DJ start playing loud music. This completely emptied the bar inside as everyone went outside to the beer garden to watch it, but then the commentary of the rugby was drowned out by the loud music!!Will be going elsewhere to watch the rest of the world cup matches.

Nice beer, not many people in though. Staff seemed a bit vague, didn't know if they HD a castle mark or not. Liked the surroundings

Decent sports bar, it's a large venue and I feel it's well maintained. The decor is traditional pub style. They do karaoke on Fridays, staff are very friendly and welcoming. Drinks are fairly cheap.

It has had a lick of paint and a well needed refit for the toilets which is has needed for the past 25 years and it looks great, only pub in old town to show SKY Sports too.The new bigger beer garden looks great.

New and good pub. I went there, it was not very busy. Big space, good beers and food as well.Price is ok, affordable.The staff was very friendly, and the food was served very quickly.The place doesn’t offer parking lot, but there is one in front of the place, so no issue.If you are nearby, should give it a try.

Great place good atmosphere first time we visited came in the evening so we didn't eat here next time will give it a try
