Highly recommended. Lovely place in Hastings, cozy vibe, excellent staff. A variety of eggs Benedict choices along with traditional English breakfast. A special shout out to the owners for decorations!

Visiting Hastings for a weekend break and being lucky to discover this place. The owner/ staff may look serious in the first place but it's actually warm and polite. Menu had a good choices of food from British breakfast, Benedict eggs to Hungarian food. And you can tell they really take pride in what they are doing: food is nicely done, the decoration in the restaurant got its characters, service is well attended. Just another great experience in Hastings

To start with the waiter/owner I think was very attentive came straight to the door to let us in. The iced coffee was absolutely spectacular. And the food lived up to them too, we had the bangers eggs Benedict and the chicken schnitzel. Cannot recommend this place enough!

After heading to Hastings before checking into our cabin we decided to break out google to find a spot for breakfast and we’re glad the Cookhouse looked good!The service was impeccable, the facilities were absolutely spotless and the food was amazing!!The owner (apologies I didn’t catch your name) was very attentive, polite and chatty.The cafe is decorated like a boiler room of sorts and it looks fantastic. Quirky but fantastic.You have to go here!! Highly recommended.

Best hot chocolate I’ve had in ages! Interior decor was very unique with a lot of the items on display for sale. My parents have visited this cafe before and decided to bring me along and I will definitely be returning in the near future. Extensive menu, offering a wide variety of milkshakes, hot drinks and range of food - there’s something for everyone. The owners are clearly passionate about their job taking pride in everything they made and served to customers :)

Love this place great for breakfast and lunch food and drinks are all made fresh and great quality owners are amazing giving lovely friendly service can be a bit pricey but it's really worth it never been unhappy with anything here

Fabulous Eggs Benedict for me (I think the best I have had) and delicious full English for my daughter. Great coffee, excellent service and lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Whenever we ask our kids where they want to go they say Cookhouse, and we don't blame them. The breakfasts are great, the Eggs Benedict are fantastic (Salmon is the best!) and the Hungarian dishes are wonderful! Finish with one of the best milkshakes ever in a friendly cafe with its own style is a delight. Highly recommended!
