Maltby Springs Pond Centre

Great place. Loads of different pond plants at great value. Half the price of other places I've been. Nice drive to it and lovely location. Also pond equipment in the shop. Will be going again soon.

Great little aquatics centre. Some great prices and staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. No fish in stock apart from the 1 tank but they are just to look at. Plants in great condition. Take care when leaving though as it's in a bit of a dip. Watch out for motorcycles as cadwell park just up the road. Most pond equipment and consumables are on sale.

A small place in the heart of the wolds close to Louth, very worth a visit, their plants are healthy and well priced, also they supply pumps, filter media, half whiskey barrels and pond sundries, at prices more affordable then we seen elsewhere. Going back this week to stock up on plants

I have been using Maltby Springs for over 20 years and have found it to be the best aquatics centre in the area for quality plants and pond equipment. It is not the biggest, but has parking on the premises and is good value with quality products.Although not for sale, there are some lovely display fish to keep children (and adults) amused while visiting.If unable to visit the shop in person, products can also be purchased via the Maltby Springs shop on ebay.I have always had excellent customer service and the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Nice little shop, they no longer sell fish but kids and kids at heart can feed the ones they have which is a nice idea. The plants we saw when we went weren't WOW but they do for those wanting to start up a pond. The containers they were kept seemed like they needed a good clean but I don't sell pond plants so I don't know. The nearby stream is obviously well looked after, it was crystal clear and contained a few good healthy versions of the plants for sale. The gentleman who served us wasn't A class when it came to customer service but I don't know what happened to him that day so benefit of doubt comes into play.A Response to the business's response:I'm glad to hear your recovering from the frosty April and are getting a better variety of plants. A compact centre in an idyllic setting. The pond plants here were all in excellent condition. The place has everything you need for your outdoor pond. The guy who runs it knows his stuff and is pleasant and helpful. There are larger places fairly locally but I much prefer this place as it has a more personal feel and I prefer supporting local small businesses.

Fabulous place, really knowledgeable owner who was very happy to help with our pond queries. Super range of plants at great prices. We will definitely go again. (It would have saved us a fortune if we’d discovered it last year when our wildlife pond was new!)

Brought another used koi pond filter a great trade in price on the filter that I bought two years ago. Once again loads of advice etc. Good range of accessories for ponds. Fish are abit pricey, but owner very helpful.
