This man is honest and hardworking. I had a nasty-to-find problem on my 30-year-old Volvo and he spent a lot of time finding it and putting it right - and then charged me a fraction of the time he'd spent. This was my first visit to this garage and I only went there because it is local and it says 'Volvo specialist' outside it, although it is not an official Volvo garage. He knew it was a difficult job when he took it on; I can find my way around an engine but this was beyond me, but he took his time in working out exactly what it was by driving it frequently and testing it. It turned out to be electrical, (could have been a fuel problem but wasn't), not the easiest problems to nail, but he was thoroughly professional and was determined to see the job through to the end.This man is a mechanic, not someone who just plugs in the computer and changes a part. He is also fair, and a nice guy to boot. Definitely recommended - a real find in a rip-off car world; much cheaper than main dealer, and one-to-one contact with the man that does the work.

I’ve just collected my v70 from PW autos, he did a great job with my car, it went to Paul with sticking callipers and some break issues that I couldn’t work out what the problem was, Paul diagnosed the issues replaced a couple of callipers, discs, and adjusted the hand break and some other work, i appreciate him fitting me is as soon as he could and how fast he did the job, the price was very reasonable and am very impressed with the work carried out. Would highly recommend.

Very helpful,Had a problem with my indicator switch, they gave me advice over the phone. So I decided to take it to them and they did a great job and even changed a light for me while they did the job.Really genuine guys

Had PW Autos inspect and service our recently bought Volvo and they did a fantastic job. Very happy with work carried out and the advice given about future maintenance was much appreciated. I’d certainly recommend them to any other owner of a Volvo (or any other make). Thank you it was fantastic to find a genuine motor engineer so close to home
