American Golf - Salisbury

Went to Salisbury branch last year to get custom fitted for some irons. The service then was great so I went back to get custom fitting for woods. Chris was the guy I saw and was impressed that he remembered me from last August (2018) when I bought my custom irons, he even remembered what make of irons i bought and even what I do for a living.Being a 20 handicapper always felt I was to high handicapper for custom fit, how wrong was I.I was made to feel at ease by Chris who took his time with me and we tried lots of clubs. Nothing was to much for him. A really nice guy with lots of golfing knowledge.The other 2 guys Ryan and Matt also very welcoming and made me feel at ease.I cant stress enough how getting my clubs custom fitted has improved my game. Cant wait for my new woods to arrive as know my game will improve more.If your looking for new irons or woods pop along to American golf you wont be disappointed plus its free!!

The place is easy to find but the parking out front is a bit tight. The staff were very welcoming and let you browse unmolested. Great attentive service pointing out a number of the best deals. Spent 3 times what I intended so well done, I did it with a smile.

Second time here. First time had to wait for single customer service" person to finish his personal phone call before serving. This time I had booked to try some wedges and they were running over

Very helpful chap in there who regripped my clubs for me. The grips themselves were a little overpriced but I didn't mind paying for the advice he gave.

Sam Stoddart at American Golf in Salisbury was extremely helpful, Knowledgeable and very patient and had good suggestions. He helped my wife with her purchase of a 5 wood and also found me a great pair of shoes at a reasonable price.I would certainly recommend him to anyone who may visit the shop.

Staff refused to give me a refund on an unworn glove. They said that 'you can't expect it to not have some wear and tear' (I'd only just taken it out of the packet) Eventually managed to convince them to do a swap but they sulked the whole time. Also the manager stood there awkwardly while the younger member of staff told me there was 'nothing they could do'

Went in to fix an issue with my TaylorMade M4 irons. The 7 & 5 iron ferrules kept coming loose. Staff were extremely helpful and even offered me another set of clubs. Great all round experience

Went to look at some wedges for an imminent purchase. Narrowed down to a Vokey and a Wilson Staff.Asked if I could give them a demo. Was told by the manager that he had someone coming in for a fitting and I couldn't use the bay. Seeing as the fittee" hadn't arrived yet

The staff greeted me and allowed me to browse without any pressure selling attempts until I was ready for assistance. Once assisted they were knowledgeable and very helpful. I have been to this store many times and always find them friendly and attentive (at the right level). Even when I have a club fitting they were very good!

Biggest disgrace to customers everAfter collecting gift vouchers that family members had purchased .for birthdays xmas etc i went there today to be told 1 x£20 voucher had expired coz i never used it in the 1st year it was pald for .how is that right ?.what a con . You are expected to spend a £1 for the voucher to stay valid .but they dont sell anything for £1.?.complete scam. I have spent a lot of money with this company .never to see me again disgraceful customer service .im just glad the. Cash my family member used will never expire and american golf can continue conning hard working public
