Rosanna’s 1 Day bag workshop was exceptional. She’s a five star teacher and I am so impressed with the quality of the bag we made during the day. This is the perfect day out for a crafty whose looking to try sewing and making with leather but needs a push into the techniques.

The Rucksack Workshop was a full-on day of learning new skills. I am new to leather craft and learnt a lot from Rosanna. She is a great teacher, guiding through every step, answering any questions about the materials & process, and providing future recommendations. The studio is a peaceful, creative space to work. The template patterns were ready to use, only having to choose the material from an extensive range of coloured leather, canvas, lining and thread. If I made a mistake, Rosanna helped fix it and showed me how to avoid repeating the mistake going forward. The result was a high-quality rucksack that feels very personal. I found Rosanna to be very accommodating, willing to pick me up from the train station due to travel problems I had that day. I would highly recommend anyone interested to try one of Rosanna’s workshops; there is something to learn if you are a novice or experienced.

Rosanna was able to save this 60 year old music case. It is of great sentimental value as it was given to my wife by her parents when she was learning the piano at 8 years of age. We are absolutely delighted with the result as Rosanna was able to expertly create a new handle, completely restitch, and renovate the leather. My wife can now continue to use it, and pass it on to our Granddaughter Matilda who is learning the violin.Thank you Rosanna.

I've known Rosanna Clare for several years, primarily for her incredible bag-making skills. However, recently, I discovered her remarkable talent in mending bags as well. I entrusted her with my well-loved, 15-year-old Louis Vuitton denim bag, which had certainly seen better days. I hoped for some improvements here and there, but what Rosanna accomplished left me utterly astounded. The end results were nothing short of miraculous. She has breathed new life into my bag, and it looks as good as new. I'm absolutely over the moon with her craftsmanship and grateful that she has given my bag another lease on life, ensuring it will serve me well for another 15 years! Fantastic work, excellent communication, and price was lower than estimate!In all seriousness, I sent an old Scout belt off to be repaired - it's about 70 years old now, and belonged to my late Granddad and my Dad so there is a fair amount of sentimental value attached to this. I'd previously spoken to other leather workers who had basically told me it was beyond repair and would need to be basically completely replaced. Clearly, that was not the case and a fantastic job has been done; it looks really good.I was given a reasonable estimate of time and cost and the entire thing has been easy.

Having planned to do leatherworking for several years, waited for the workshop for several months, my patience got the better of me and I arrived an hour only, more waiting....But from the off the basic leather course was very engaging and interesting. You tube is helpful but the real thing was brilliant. Within an hour I was cutting leather and making things. Rosanna was very patient and very helpful and I made three items with time left to make more, but I wanted to savour the three items and keep pinching myself that I hade actually made something. My outlook on leather work changed over night and I can't wait to make things for my family first and then perhaps the world. Many Thanks Rosanna 5 stars is not enough!!!

My husband's leather jacket was too good and held too many memories to let go when he died. I had the idea of making it into a valise for our son and searched the internet for makers. I was very lucky to find Rosanna. she has done such a wonderful job transforming the jacket into a sturdy bag. Together we decided on the lining and placement of the pockets and labels and Rosanna added our son's initials too. The result is a unique and extremely smart bag. Our son was delighted to have such a personal memento of his father. He commented on what a good size it was, just right for overnight stays, and also on the quality of the trimmings. It’s taken me well over two years to find someone who could restore my beloved 30 year old leather flying jacket. I’ve followed up many a dead end, from leather furniture restorers, saddle makers and even a local “repair shop” which I had high hopes for. But none of them were able to do what I wanted which was to restore it back to health but retaining its years of character.That is until an old friend recommended Rosanna. As soon as I saw her website and then corresponded with her I realised that she could be one, at last. Admittedly, I was apprehensive about the outcome as I was half expecting it to come back either looking exactly the same or brand new – both of which I didn’t want.My jacket required significant restoration: a new zip, hook, extensive lining repairs, and treatment for large worn-out leather patches. When I eventually collected it I was amazed with what Rosanna had accomplished. It came back exactly as I was hoping it would, with a new zip that didn’t split each time I wore it. And the leather looked wonderful – still with that well-worn look but the raw patches all blended in. It was perfect and I couldn’t have wanted it any better.Rosanna's craftsmanship is exceptional, setting a gold standard in quality and precision.

Rosanna made 2 gorgeous handbags from my Dad's tweed jacket. She was so helpful & produced 2 amazing handbags which looked just as she said they would. Couldn't be happier. Will definitely be having another bag made. Would recommend this very skilled lady to everyone.
