Both my daughters joined BCDA from being babies and have excelled over the years, learning technique well in all aspects of dance! They have gained forever friendships along the way - as have I, and I couldn’t have wished for a better dance school for them to be part of! Having watched the most recent show I am in awe of the standout production produced - wow just wow!! Thanks to all for being so influential in helping my daughters find a passion for life! I cant recommend enough!

Extra exam lessons have just finished and I feel privileged to have been able to witness first class teaching. All the children have progressed under the constant guidance of their teacher, who adds humour in to the mix whilst demanding and achieving extremely high standards.Since joining Bailey-Cox, my child has developed as a person and a dancer (across many disciplines) through sympathetic nurturing and the high standard of tutoring. He has been embraced by and embraces the Bailey-Cox dance family. Long may it last!

I am adult learner who returned to ballet after a very long break. More than two years down the line the Thursday morning class is a highlight of my week. Cherienne Bailey is everything you could want from a ballet teacher: she supports and encourages you to dance the best you can whatever your level. Exercises and dances are always appropriate and interesting, and different options are shown so everyone is able to progress and develop. I was worried about returning to ballet as an adult, but the class is a complete joy – it is welcoming and challenging (in a good way!) and I look forward to continuing to improve.

I have been attending a dance class here for several months now and have had a fantastic experience. Cherienne is welcoming and the group is a friendly one with a variety of ages. The teaching is well structured with a mixture of warm up activities, barre and centre work based on classic ballet moves.I feel i have learned so much and am so grateful for this opportunity relatively late on in life ( i am seventy). The teacher is sensitive to returning learners and it is a very inclusive class.Thoroughly recommended if you are seeking an uplifting and inspirational teacher/ class

I found the adult 'beginner' ballet classes unsuitable for newcomer adult beginners or improvers like me who had not previously been at this school for a long time. The centre work (dancing), to me, very much lacked the explanation and demonstration that in my opinion is needed for dancers who are not very experienced. Overall disappointing. There were also complete beginners who were allowed into a lv 2 class that was advertised as only suitable for those with 'some' ballet experience. On a positive note, the teacher seemed sensitive to the physical needs of older people-I feel the classes were completely safe.I cannot comment on the children's classes or the other classes.

LOVE THIS CLASS, ITS FANTASTIC! I've been with Bailey Cox for 4 years now and have got so much out of it. Cherienne takes away your initial fears and apprehensions as a newbie coming back after years away. It's difficult to join a ballet class as an adult and your teacher needs to be super supportive and very encouraging and that's exactly how I feel with Cherienne. She really challenges you to do better and goes to get lengths to explain things if she feels you haven't quite got it. Further Cherienne is devoted to adult learning demonstrated by her CPD in Silver Swans Ballet. Her life long dedication to ballet reflects in her passion to make it an art accessible and enjoyable to all. I'd encourage anyone to have a go at this ballet class if you dreamed of doing it as a kid and some small part of you still wants to try.

I love my adult ballet class and it is one of the highlights of my week. Even if I'm stressed and tired from a long day at work, Adult Ballet is an hour that is just for me and it gives me a chance to unwind and focus on something completely different. We work hard in class and ballet is challenging, but we also laugh at lot and Cheriene is an experienced, warm and caring teacher who really encourages us to do our best. I always come away from my class feeling revived and encouraged.

I trained at this dance school for 15 years and couldn’t recommend it more. The teachers are kind, encouraging and very well trained. Dancing here has taught me skills for life and it was great to be able to share my love for dancing with others particularly through the dancing shows at the Octagon!
