Dave is an excellent, experienced and calm instructor. He gave us lots of information about how the sport works, was very accommodating in giving us a lift from the station, and did his best to give us a fun flying experience despite the changing not-ideal wind conditions on the day. We felt safe and had a lot of fun throughout!

Had a wonderful time on a tandem flight session I received as a gift, I'd never done it before but there's really nothing like it - the ground fell away and we were flying. Dave was very knowledgeable and informative about what we were doing and the conditions were wonderful. Would recommend to anyone with any interest in giving it a go.

Dave is a fantastic instructor who really knows his stuff. The experience is fantastic and a must do.

I've flown with Dave many times over almost 20 years. His safety is second to non, is why he's one of the few tandum piolots I recomend to friends and family. The sport is weather dependant so be prepared that things my have to be rescheduled. The weather can change. But don't be disappointed as when you do fly it's a beautifully amazing and the memory will stay with you for life. He is very tuned in to the weather conditions and wants you to be safe and have a quality relaxing flight. So be patience and you will be rewarded.

I had a great time paragliding with Dave. I received the trip from my husband as a birthday present, and from the moment I spoke to Dave on the phone I knew that I would be in safe hands. The whole process was friendly and professional. The briefing before we flew was informative and helpful.I imagined I would be throwing myself off the side of a cliff...but that could not be further from the truth - it was more of a step forward and the wind (and possibly Dave!) did the rest. The paraglide itself looked in great condition, was really comfortable and crucially did not dig in.The person who went before me was absolutely buzzing when he landed and it was great to hear him talk about his trip up so enthusiastically. I am always be happy to go further, faster and higher, so it was a joy when Dave asked if I wanted to do some twirls (that is almost certainly not the word he used!), but we managed to pull some acrobatic type moves off that were very exciting!Dave is clearly very experienced and respected by the other flyers.I had a great time and would definitely recommend!

Dave was very commuicative prior to the trip and accommodated my request to spliut my tandem experience between two people, half an hour each. We met promptly at 9am. at Glynde Station at is was a minutes drive to the base of the Downs; we had a thoruogh safety briefing and explanation of the principles of paragliding. I help carry the 9KG paraglider up in a back pack to the top od the hill, about 5-10 mute walk. Dave was knowledgeable, professianal and chatty, he was keen to give us the basic training necessary to begnin learning to fly solo with a neaby flying school and share his love of the sport. One of our party was found to be too weak in the knees and ankles to safely land and take off, demonstrating how keen Dave was to observe safety protocols. We each received about about 45-1hrs. gliding, as expected. Dave wore a T shirt which was obviosuly warm enough upto 500 ft. on a warm Summer's day. Even when its warm weather, a coat may be useful to fly to altitude and protect you from a heavy landings; gloves useful to protect your hands whiilst holding the harness in the air as, Dave needs your active cooperation to make the turns into thermals, effective. Boots to protect your ankles are a definite must. Great fun and highly recommended as an introduction to the sport!Thanks.

Great trip with Dave today! 1st time paragliding and Dave was fantastic explaining everything to me. Once we got up it was so beautiful and Dave kept me informed on what he was doing and why as he expertly manoeuvred us from one thermal to the next getting over 2000 feet in the end. Super relaxed, comfortable landing and we even spent a few minutes sharing a thermal with a Red kite! awesome! Thanks Dave!

I didn't take part myself - I was not booked to, but, despite my fear of heights and of flying, I felt that all of the pre-flight safety issues were comprehensively addressed and understood by the participants and that, once off the ground (on an ideal morning weather-wise) I was missing out! Maybe next year, and Thank you.

Dave was an outstanding guide for my first ever paraglide! Very professional with an excellent and reassuring briefing, which also outlined his considerable international experience, insurance, risks etc and then was very clear, calm and confident throughout. A very straightforward lift-off and landing. Clearly a very skilled pilot and a generally great guy. Highly recommend!
