Visited the salon a second time after having a bad experience the first time with my nails, tried a different member of staff this time to be again faced with a terrible, thick and ugly set of nails.I sent a photo through to Katie to see if it was normal that there was a gap between my natural nail and the false tip and BIAB that had been put on, which would be a breeding ground for bacteria as it wasnt sealed only to have a message back which quite frankly lacked that client care and in all honestly didnt give a damWas told to contact the girl that did the nails - who clearly from the state of the nails wasnt confident in what she was doing. I should have listened to the warning bells ringing and just left the salon before she put the gel on as after filing the nail there was no wiping down the debris of the nail before applying the gelMy biggest problem is the fact I messaged Katie and the response I got was '' have you spoken to the person that did the nails'' .. i get that, but then the 'attitude' that came with the next text really was extremely annoying.I guess I was hoping being the business owner she would have taken some responsibility to whom she was hiring and gave me the advice i asked in my initial question.. of is this normal and will it cause mold to growNow im going to soak my hands in acetone hoping to get this offLesson learnt - which i should have learnt from the first time the service was poor and the nails were awfulYou may employee people on a self employed basis, but it is your name over the door, so in reality goes to show the lack of care you have for clients

I’ve been going to Katie’s for the best part of a year and a half and every time I get my nails done by Katie I’m always giving her a challenge (see pics below) but I’m ALWAYS so proud of my nails, the level of skill Katie has blows me away! Let alone the compliments I get from people when they do see a glimpse of my nails the level of detail is amazing!!I have also recently had my lips slightly tweaked as I’ve always wanted them done but never found someone I trust enough to do them…then I came across Cheyenne, AKA TQBeauty & aesthetics….WOW! Cheyenne is such a lovely lady who knows what she’s talking about and isn’t out just to get people’s money as her work on people is just amazing and her knowledge is even greater! She made me feel so comfortable whilst I was having the work done and talked me through the whole process, I was so relaxed and I’m so SO happy with my results!

Great salon, lovely staff really friendly. Highly recommend for any kind of treatment!

Katie and all the girls at katie lou are amazing i have been using Katie's for years now i always have people comment on how amazing my nails are it such a friendly place all girls are wonderful and very welcoming and will never go anywhere else i have even had my mum start going to Katie's and also lots of friends now use the girls.

Katie has been doing my nails for the last 6 years and I wouldn't go to anyone else! The amount of care she has for us clients is something else! All the girls in the salon are are absolute Gems and I couldn't be prouder of katie and her team for where they are today. Well done ladies keep up the amazing work ❤️

I have been going to Katie Lou’s for the past probably 6/7 months, I started my BIAB journey with Katie and when I say I had SHORT natural nails now they are longer and stronger and honestly I won’t be looking back, as for the staff I find them ALL so welcoming and full of conversation. 10/10 on everything!!
