Emma took the time to fully understand and listen to our needs and concerns regarding a previous bad experience with another childcare provider. Emma placed an interim temp nanny who was amazing and then a permanent experienced nanny with us at the start of this year. 8 months in and we are very happy with our permanent full time nanny; she is consistent, has a child centred approach and above all is professional and genuinely helpful.Definitely worth the agency fees. Working with Emma again to get additional weekend cover as our family grows. Highly recommend Emma!

Though we've ended up with a nursery place as our longer term solution, she put a number of relevant, experienced, good quality candidates forward for us, and she also arranged some short term cover which we really needed. Emma communicates proactively and is scrupulous about transparency in the fees she charges.

Absolutely terrible service. A nanny we had employed left after a week (they had not done their due diligence at all well) and we were then refused a refund when we ended up not hiring another nanny through them. We have used many agencies and this has been by far the worst to work with.

I used Mum’s the Word when we moved to a new area, to find a nanny for two young children due to going back to work full-time. Emma was professional and responsive on the phone and shared excellent candidates that were suitable for our family circumstances. She had clearly listened to our requirements. We interviewed and chose our favourite and have had our nanny for nearly six months now and she has proved to be invaluable and trustworthy. Worth every penny for the peace of mind.
