A lovely, friendly and professional lady who kindly worked to my budget. I had my wedding dress taken up and also had a satin belt with satin rose on it made to go with. Lovely workshop behind her house with lots of photo's of dresses she has made. I am very glad to have found her! Would most certainly recommend.

Found Penelope after an emergency with my wedding dress occurred within a week to go until the wedding. I couldn't have asked for a nicer, most professional seamstress. She dropped everything just to accommodate me which I am eternally grateful for. Plu it was completed within a day and I took it home. She is a wonderful lady and I would most definitely recommend her services.

I rang up in a panic, with literally two weeks to go until my wedding with christmas inbetween she took my wedding dress up withing the week !! It was heavily laced at the bottom and shes done a fantastic job ! Would definitely recommend

Very professional, efficient and friendly. I needed a dress altering for a wedding I was bridesmaid at, as it was too small around the waist. An amazing job was done, and it was almost unnoticeable that there were any alterations. Will definitely return if I need any other alterations!

The dress alterations were so shockingly poor that I undid most of it. On the day the dress seams where she had taken it in started to come apart and I had to hand sew it before the ceremony. She didn't listen to what I wanted, went ahead and did alterations before consulting then charged me more that the dress cost for the alterations... If i hadn't been so tired and upset I would have just left the dress with her and bought another!

Penelope is absolutely lovely and a fabulous seamstresses. She made alterations to my wedding dress quickly and did a fantastic job for a very reasonable price. Would recommend and will always use Penelope if I need anything else done in the future!
