My daughter has done several drama productions here over the years and it's a lovely welcoming little theatre. Intimate seating but a good view from every seat. Close to most restaurants. Clean and tidy bathroom.

A wonderful, all theatre and performance venue. Historic in setting, with an auditorium rake which affords good sight and sound from all corners.Our visit was for a performance by the Lawrence Cottle Big Band - two powerful sets of superb musicianship.Helpful and enthusiastic staff make you feel at home right away. (You can even volunteer at the theatre and get involved in productions too.A great experience!

A lovely little gem of a place. We watched Dracula a few weeks ago, an amazing performance fit for the Big Stage. We will definitely be going again.Take cash, no card at the bar and cheap too.

We visited for the pantomime. oh now we didn't etc. It's a small theatre and reasonably comfortable. Don't bother getting tea from the machine it's possibly the worst tea I've ever tasted. All four of us gave ours back to the bar as it was undrinkable.
