Macs locks

Had a front door issue and called macslocks. He came out straight away, quoted for the job, ordered a part and came back the next day to fix the problem.He was very professional, very thorough, reliable and knows his stuff!I would recommended him and would re use him again!

I have never had to call a locksmith before and was really nervous, it was a Saturday night and our front door wouldn't lock within 15 minutes Jimmy was there he changed the lock as the gearbox had gone, he had to be extra quiet as we had three little ones in bed and it was nearly midnight. I can't thank him enough for his excellent work he couldn't fit a new lock on the night but fitted his own and ordered us a new one which he came back to fit.He is a lovely man and won't charge you the earth. I always recommend him now

Just had Jimmy out to a midnight disaster as our key broke in the lock of our new build home. He was friendly, helpful, professional and very reasonably priced compared to the first call I'd made. Managed to get us in via backdoor after discovering the front door mechanism had failed completely. No hidden costs or even an extra charge for the replacement (upgraded) back door lock mechanism. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic service. We had a problem with our back door lock breaking. He came out the same day at our own convenience and fitted a temporary lock. He ordered a new lock which was delayed but he kept us fully updated and fit the new lock on a Saturday morning. Would definitely recommend and use again

Visited this morning to fix a problem with my patio door, arrived early diagnosed the problem with the lock barrel which he replaced. And all in less than 3/4 hour. Thanks so much if you need a locksmith I would definitely recommend you give him a ring. 5 star service.

It's taken me a while to write this review due to life being somewhat hectic at the moment. Can't recommend this gentleman enough though. He came to my rescue by repairing my Mum's extremely tricky to open front door lock which would have caused the carers no end of problems if left as it was. He was so helpful and kind at a really stressful time and didn't accept any payment as he hadn't had to replace any parts. Not even a call out charge which was so kind of him. He also gave some excellent advice on key safes. This is an extremely trustworthy and experienced tradesman and a nice guy to boot. He also came to my son's rescue travelling all the way to Newton le Willows on a week end to repair a faulty back door lock! Another excellent job done for a very very fair price. If you are looking for a genuine tradesman this is your man. Thanks Macs Locks!!

Our lock jammed while turning the key and wouldn’t open. Phoned Jimmy who came round in 15 minutes, he tried a number of things to un jam it without luck. He gained entry for us without causing any damage to the door and fitted a lock to secure the door overnight, then returned the next day with an upgraded lock compared to our original one fitted on a new build. Very helpful guy and a fair price. Would call him again.
