Had a manicure with gel nails for the first time and it was great, nail tech (apologies I didn't get your name) was very friendly and chatty.She talked me through through the shaping options and was particularly considerate when I told her I have arthritis in one of my fingers.Will deffinately go back

I always have an overhaul at Rosebuds for an occasion or holiday and today didn't disappoint. All the girls are lovely and you can have a good natter while having your treatments. Highly recommend!

After walking past a sign for an offer that was on a few times I decided to jump in and book. I turned up just before my time and waited. I was given a form to fill in (standard), i could have been given this when I arrived and not eating into my time.Into the room and I was asked what I'd booked, only then to be told that actually they don't like giving the Indian head massage and did I mind not having it but having a longer facial instead (shouldn't really advertise what isn't comfortable being given but hey ho, I just needed some time out so agreed to whatever was easiest).Massage was nice, it was explained it wouldn't be harsh as training hadn't been given in that (which again I wish I'd been advised of at the time of booking). A little surprised no arm/hand massage included before being turned over for the facial which is where it all went a bit wonky. There was lots of pausing and minutes of doing nothing, and the therapist deep sighing and product upon product put on and washed off. Again, thought the arm/hand massage may be included as part of this given all the extra time we had but no, instead the treatment finished 20 min early.I'd go again but only if I knew exactly what I was getting and maybe booking one treatment at a time

I hesitated writing this review since the nail tech is so young, but as a Level 6 Google Map reviewer who only chose this location BECAUSE of the great reviews, my experience is just as valid and deserves to be shared.Unfortunately, the only thing good about my experience was the conversation, but I didn't go to get my nails done for the wonderful small talk. I expect results that I cannot achieve myself at home. I'm especially gutted since this was my fourth time getting my nails done in my life since I'd had terrible experiences as a teenager.My gel removal was not done with a machine, they were buffed off with a nail file. This would have been fine if 1) they were completely removed, 2) if they didn't affect base nail and chafe my cuticles, and 3) if they didn't take so long. If I knew she was going to use a nail buffer, I would have done them at home myself. Two of my cuticles bled and I had to ask for tissue before the blood was just pushed away with the base polish... I actually wanted a clear base and pink tips but since the nail tech was not able to remove all of the gel, the remaining gel had to be covered up with a colour. I also didn't expect the French tip to be so uneven and small despite asking for it to be made larger.Had there been a senior staff member available and had my nail tech not been a teenager, I would have complained in-store, but I was stunned, and just wanted to pay and leave, especially after she smudged my nail when applying cuticle oil and had to re-do the tip. I ended up going straight home, removing the polish and buffing the remaining gel off myself, wasting a whopping £27 and two hours. The age of my nail tech doesn't bother me and I have nothing against apprentices practicing in order to improve, but the nail salon should be aware of the current abilities of their technicians, and make it known that the technician is an apprentice, so that the client can respectfully request a more experienced technician. I start a new job in a few days and I hope you can agree that for £27, I should have walked out with healthier, prettier nails than this...Edit after receiving a response:Hi, thank you for getting back to me. My new job is out of Essex and I fly tomorrow (Wednesday 5th) so unfortunately for me, I won't be here to get a re-do or a refund. Instead, I hope this will be a learning opportunity for her. I wish her luck and diligence in her studies.

I have been going to Rose buds since it opened and would not go anywhere else, all of the staff are so lovely and so polite. Nicole done my eyelashes yesterday and they are amazing, she done them exactly how I wanted.

No experience at all phoned twice and qas greeted by a voice message which i had to listen to twice no receptionist to take your call. Two bad reviews us enough to put me off. Also they didn't ring me back. Which is pretty rude.
