Mac's Hair

Waste of money, took my daughter second time now to get her hair done. My daughter wanted an Ash Brown. HER HAIR IS BRUNETTE. RIDICULOUS. Showed the hair dresser 3 times in total of the hair colour wanted she comes back home with Brunette hair almost looks black. The main reason for taking her there in the first place is to get rid off the black for her to be the same colour she came in with absolutely waste of money. ASKED for ash brown my daughter came out with warm brown. Hair dresser definitely doesnt know what shes doing . Although has been shown the pictures like 3 times. If you do not have the colours that people want done then say you dont have it in stead of taking peoples money and not giving them what they want. EMBARRASSING and no were not returning in 6 weeks. Why are you sharing the same hairbrush on different clients not hygienic atleast clean the brush. WASTE OF MONEY.

For the last year I have been going to Mac salon. All the staff are extremely kind, the atmosphere is also very convivial and you are going to feel very welcome. No matter what age group or gender you are, they seem to know how to perfectly style your hair. Everyone seems to leave the place very happy and the prices are very competitive. We have a little gem in Plumstead.

First time for me and I'll be back for sure. I am a bit fassy, I have a lot of wild hair and difficult to style.The cut that Jade made, although slightly different from what I thought, is among the most beautiful and accurate I have ever done in a really long time.The quality of the result is clearly superior to its price. Highly recommended

I always love getting my hair done at Mac’s, and since being done up it makes the experience even more lovely. I love my current hair, I got a short bob with a full head of highlights and it’s gorgeous.

My little boy had his hair done today by John, really good job, very good with my son. I'm really pleased with the result and will definitely be bringing him back.

First time using them. Was given a male hair dresser, really friendly guy. But his hair cutting skill seemed questionable. Showed a style that was a tad long for my hair but wanted something shorter to mimic the style. Just got home and noticed the styles aren't anything alike. I did ask for layers and didn't get any off that. Feels like a waste of £11.50, I should've gone with my usual place. I now know for next time.

I visited today for the 1st time and I am really happy with my 2 tones full head highlights. I was very comfortable with Aïcha. Recommend and will visit again

It's difficult to explain the experience really. I'd say on first appearances staff seem friendly, however they seem to treat some clients with a more respectful attitude. I couldn't help but feel there was a general standards of beauty snobbery. Had I been a slim thing with a manicure I feel I'd have been treated better. I got spoken down to by the hairdresser doing my hair. She suggested I'd been washing my hair in the bath and that's why there was a build up of skin on the scalp etc. I told her that was not the case, I don't take baths, I shower, and explained about psoriasis, which I now have diagnosed. It was clear she didn't believe me however. It's quite like a playground clique, if you don't look a certain way then you'll get treated like you shouldn't be there. I didn't feel comfortable. It's not nice to feel looked down on. There are some other factors also which I don't want to go into. However I would say they're not Autism child friendly or understanding either. I tried this hairdressers a few times for sake of convenience on area, however have found a hairdressers in Lewisham I'd rather travel to. A kinder attitude can go far

I went to see Corrie after another salon butchered my hair, I wanted nothing off the length just the issue resolved and corrie did exactly that and I am so pleased now! Everyone is always friendly and the prices reasonable. Corrie squeezed me in last minute and was so helpful xx
