Neon School

Fantastic one day experience- Andy is a patient and easy to talk to tutor, who I learnt so much from. Hoping to come back again soon to do the two day course! I went home with a fabulous piece of neon sculpture - and would recommend to anyone who wants to learn about the world of neon.

A gift from my wife lead me into the mysterious world of Neon with the Master of his art, Andy Doig. A truly skilled Artisan, that made me feel relaxed from the outset. A two day course, quickly settled me into learning the conversion of rigid glass tubes into fluid and amorphic forms, within a very short period. Attentive in his tuition, my ability culminated in a unique piece of Neon and alchemistic memories.

Andy e il suo laboratorio sono la prova che il neon è ancora vivo. Un artista un ottimo insegnate ma prima di tutto un grande appassionato di questo mondo. Ho fatto una master class di 5 giorni con andy, è stata un’ esperienza unica.Andy dal primo giorno mi ha aperto le porte del suo laboratorio e della sua immensa conoscenza del settore di bene 35anni e con tanta pazienza e passione mi ha preso per mano e condotto nel mondo del neon. Da lui ho appreso molte tecniche nuove e un nuovo modo di approccio al pratico, si vede che è uno con tanta esperienza di qualità. Tra noi si è creata una vera sintonia e complicità che ci ha portato a viverci questi 5 giorni con un estremo entusiasmo. Se sei un appassionato del neon per hobby o per questioni lavorative è una tappa che ti devi concedere. Andy ha molto da dire da svelare da raccontare da far vivere.Grazie andy.

I’ve always had an interest in neon but had no experience in anything like this before. The two day course throws you into bending glass and creating your own designs. Andy is patient, kind and makes you feel at ease immediately. The studio and surrounding beach is beautiful. A totally unique and creative experience.

Andy is a neon master craftsman. His Neon School classes are exceptionally enjoyable due to his patience and expertise as a tutor. I've taken two of his fantastic Neon School classes and I will book more. I cannot recommend Andy's Neon School highly enough.
