We have recently hired St John’s Hall for an Equestrian Table Top Sale.We found it very easy to navigate the on line booking and to contact the hall key holder to arrange viewing the hall beforehand. On the day, hall access was very good and when opening the doors, the hall was very warm, welcoming and very clean and tidy. The tables and chairs were in good condition and comfortable and all neatly stored in side rooms with easy access. The kitchen is spacious, well equipped and maintained. There are separate toilets for ladies/gents and both were clean, tidy and plenty of loo rolls (seems trivial but an essential item which is sometimes lacking). There were adequate brooms and brushes available allowing us to clear up and leave the hall in the way we found it.We would be happy to hire the hall again and recommend it to others.Mortimer Riding Club

The first time we've watched a play in three years. It was good to be back in a community hall watching amdram and what a superbly written and acted play called the The Syrian Baker". A play about the bread of life in more ways than one.The Mortimer audience hasn't changed in the 7 years since we watched our first pantomime at St. John's Hall. They're somewhat stayed and a little bit "I have to be here to show I'm cultured" but they are very appreciative and supportive."
