We watched long boat racing. There was entertainment, food and a bar! There is always plenty of seating, lots to see and it's all wheelchair accessible which is great.

We very often walk round here on an evening, nice restaurants overlooking the marina and not stupid prices, plenty of parking space and lots of benches to see the cruise ships sail by

I use the slipway often for my rib boat. It is clean and hard surfaced. Parking for cars with trailers is close. Sheltered water but wash from jet skis can be a problem. 6 knots limit until past Hythe pier down towards the isle of wight. Can go flat out after Hythe pier. Allan

Parking around corner is free for 3hr., if space is available. Good view over the harbour of Southampton. And can see the small train attend the ferry.

A nice walk around the marina and you can watch the ships going out and other vessels going in and out of Southampton also a nice fish and chip shop in Hythe just a short distance from there plenty of seating too no public toilets though??

Nice place to sit and watch the boats. Slip for boat launching . Cafe's and restaurants nearby .pay parking.
