It took me nearly an hour to get to this test centre due to an accident on the motor way (completely out of my control). 10 minutes to locate the building which isn’t well sign posted when you aren’t from the area. Arrived at 14:15 for a 14:00 appointment refused point blank to accept me despite me explaining why I was late. The lovely receptionist politely told me “you’ll have to rebook your late”.

This place has moved to another building the other side of Chesterfield in 2021.Yet when a test was booked in 2022 this address is issued.. very very poor.

Says open on the website, but when you get there All the lights are off & doors locked. Wasted 2hours of my day driving there!!!

Very poorly signposted and difficult to find without directions, with no parking immediately by it. The nearest parking is a public car park approximately a 5 minute walk away. The building itself is not very obvious, with other shops nearby having signage that dominates. Exterior looks dingy and unwelcoming.As a test centre is serves its purpose but does not excel at anything, being simply average across the board.

If you are disabled you will be asked to wait outside the waiting room when everyone else can wait inside. you even have to wait longer as you have a special room for disabled people

got there 15mins early place looked abandoned knocked and buzzed every option then saw sign on door saying it had moved for driving tests thought id try there instead, they said I was the 3rd person that day but didnt do CITB tests £3 on parking lost and an hour of my time - not booking there again!! go elsewhere should have read the reviews :(
