My enormous sycamore had quite serious surgery yesterday and yet it still looks so well balanced and natural in shape. Many thanks lads for an excellent job

Dan was very quick to respond and even offered to come and view the job on New Year's Day, which really impressed us. Fairington's quote was very competitive and by far the best quote we had received. The job was scheduled quickly. The guys arrived on time and worked really hard all day to clear the site. It was completed on time and they then cleared everything up and left the garden and drive nice and tidy. I will definitly use again and would highly recommend!

Thanks for your input Dan. Slander in an attempt to discredit me is not a very customer focussed, professional or intelligent response. Attached are several photos, including one of the old fence showing arris rails were cut to sit in the concrete posts as opposed to the cheaper ones you attached and don't sit in the posts causing the fence to protrude and the reason I can put my hand between the gaps. One which refutes your claim the quote was for a 5 ft fence (personal details omitted) as you can see it clearly states 6 ft. The others confirm my earlier claims of poor installation. I've included one of that appalling gate. Who in their right mind would agree to you removing a chunk that size and no I was not going to pay for such an eyesore. I followed procedures as directed in The Consumer Rights Act 2015, requesting you return to make good the fence, which you saw fit to ignore. As advised in my letters I engaged a solicitor. After researching your company she returned to inform me that you have a CCJ against you and advised that if I took legal action, the possibility of a refund was doubtful, so it's you who should be concerned about your reputation as a trader. Unfortunately this left me no alternative but to warn others of your work practices and after sales service.Since you digress because you have no defence but believe you can comment on issues not related to installation of the fence to discredit me, just shows your lack of intelligence and understanding of the situation. As for my neighbour, he most definitely did not comment on your good work (the fence you're referring to had not even been installed) but said he was going to tear it down if it was on his property so he was reported to the police that same morning. As for me being vile, there was no shouting, I never used expletives, I simply told the neighbour to go about his own business. He was also informed that he’d previously been caught causing criminal damage to my property, again reported to the police. However, this is none of your business and unrelated to this issue and your attempt to slander and discredit me through lies has failed. I have no desire to ruin any traders reputation, however I will not sit by and permit them to think they can scam me out of my hard earned money for a disgraceful job, ignore my requests to return to make good and believe there are no consequences.You simply did not adhere to the quote (both written and verbal) didn't use the correct materials causing very poor installation and there was no after sales follow up. Had you visited to address my concerns when first requested I would not have had to take matters further, so take responsibility for your lack of action Dan.Any reader wishing to view more of my photos which support my claims or wish to come look at the fence, please contact me and I'll be more than happy to show you. I only wish to prevent others going through the many months of distress I've been through.HORRENDOUS! Do not use this company for fence installation! Didn't use the correct rails, didn't use fence posts just existing concrete posts even though I was charged for several additional wooden fence posts, corners of capping came away just 5 months after installation, featheredge fencing boards not resting on gravel boards leaving openings whereby I can put my hands underneath, to name just a few items of his appalling work. He harassed me for payment just 3 hours after issuing the invoice and continued to harass me for the next two days to the point I felt bullied into paying (no doubt because he knew what an absolute atrocious job he'd made of the work). Ignored my letters requesting he return to put right his appalling work. I now have a fence which is not fit for purpose! This man conned me, a lone female out of £1300, do not employ him!
