Bloomfield Farm Caravan & Camping

I am so reluctant to share this little gem of a campsite! I have loved camping for many years and stayed at many campsites but this has to be a favourite of mine.We had the most loveliest of welcomes from the hosts and were given a pitch with amazing views and then guided to the facilities, the best being the secure dog play field, which were all beautifully maintained and had lovely little touches.It's in a great location, and we travelled not more than 40 minutes to where we wanted to go. 7 minutes drive to Llys y fran, and 5 minutes to a quirky pub called Tafarn Sinc. Food was great! The best beaches and Oakwood Park and Folly Farm are close by.Llys y fran is a reservoir and visitors centre that offers mountain biking, e-biking, and many water sports for hire, but if you're not into that, the walk around there is stunning.They are a new site, only a year into their journey, which I know they are planning bigger and better things. I wish them all the luck, and I can't wait to stay again.Thank you for such a wonderful stay (the chats, the kettle, and leaflets left on our table for places of interest which we might enjoy). Lovely camping site, starting off its journey to be a great campsite, we had the joy of the site to ourselves for most of our 2 weeks which is nice, friendly camps when they visited for a few days enjoyed the site as well. It's in the middle of Pembrokeshire so it's less than 45 minutes from most of the good beaches, on rainy days we hit up Swansea for activities. Other days one side of the coast might be wet and while the other sunny and hot. Parking is cheap at £5 all day for most places and you could mix activities and do many of the looping coastal walks.The site has plans to improve the services and added a washing up station while we stayed. Views of the valley are lovely and once a week we could watch a firework display in the distance.
