Thurstaston Beach

Nice beach, but hard getting to and from the carpark if you are frail or with children...... Unless they have another way down to the beach perhaps.

Lovely walk here yesterday during covid. Even seen an owl.

This is not a usual beach with water on shore to wet our legs. Place is good. Kids can play in sand. Sun bath. Spend leisure time. If you are wanting to play in water I wouldn't recommend this place.

Lovely beach not very busy, perfect for a dog walking .

Always a lovely walk, however my wellingtons that I escaped from some 6months ago are still immortalised in the quick sand so be careful, there is a lot more warning signage now…. Sunsets hear are by far one of the best I’ve seen and there are lots of little pockets on the cliffs to watch it from… SA

Fab beach for walking with or without dog. Tide can be in which makes a smaller area to walk but when out it is a fab beach for the dogs to run around. AWARE there are steps leading to this beach which not great for very infirm. They are not hugely steep but coming back up is a little heavy on the legs . Otherwise ..its great. Before uou hit the beach there is the country park which is connected to the parling area . Just 2 mins walk from car park. That is a great walk too with a cafe and visitor centre. Picnic areas. At the other end of car park is the other cafe Flissys . Dog friendly. Great day out .any time of year.

Lovely beach, no water when we visited but wanted to take dog for first beach day and she loved it 2 hours chasing a ball

Lovely place, a long walk down the steps to the beach, but definitely worth going

Fairly nice beach, lots a mud flats that make it very hard to get to the water when the tide is out but the dogs still loved it. Lovely surrounding grassy area and fab dog friendly cafe near by.
