Good morning,Myself and 12 of my friends attended your Xmas party night on 10.12.12 and I would like to give you some feedback about our experience.Firstly we were told at the bar that it was cash only, which none of us had, only card. We were sent to the cash machine , which was out of order, granted not your fault but if advised that it was cash only we would have came prepared. This did mean we could only buy a couple of drinks each.Secondly , the place was sooo cold, we all ate our meals with our coats on. One elderly lady left before the main meal as she was too cold. We were right up the back and staff kept going out a back door , leaving it open for cold air to come in making it unbearable to sit there.Most of the hall had finished their 3 courses before we got our starters. When we did get our meal it was luke warm and the potatoes were too cold and hard to eat. We went up to dance to heat us up and no one approached us about our desserts, meaning only one of the 13 got one. For £35 we would have expected a higher quality of service.No prosecco and no toilets for females was the final straw.We all left at 11 disappointed .Needless to say we will be looking at other venues next year.RegardsAlisonGet Outlook for Android

At an engagement party , hall very nicely decorated and friendly staff , although at the start of the night there was a long wait for draught lager. The pipes had been cleaned,but no one seemed to know how to draw off the water in the pipes. Sorry if I'm being picky , but that should be done before guests arrive.The car park needs a lot of attention, potholes galore ,probably better to park on the street.

Big function room ideal for the event we attended, not a great selection of draught beers though and cash only .

Good function room. Slightly difficult to find the way in. The entrance is to the left of the bookkeepers, hidden behind a high fence.Bar is cash only, which is unusual in these post Covid times. It would have been a 4/5 star review, if they’d taken cards.Single hand dryer in the gents was a bit intermittent and hard to use.

Myself and friends have booked for Xmas party three years now this year wasn't the same the place was cold we we're all frozen the meal was nice but wasn't very hot and for desert it was cheese cake or nothing.on the plus side the staff are great and entertainment is good.Hopfully nexst year the hall will be warmer and food a bit warmer and a choice of desert.

The venue itself is great we were at an engagement party and the function suite was well laid out and the buffet was great. The biggest problem we had was with the bar. It was cash only strange indeed. Couldn't see any drinks prices listed at the bar a bit naughty. Even soft drinks were pricey we got charged £5 for a small glass of soda water and a tap water!!

Great Hall for parties, well presented and the staff were excellent
