Had a lovely lunch in the garden, food was great. They have gluten free and vegetarian options, and I could find things suitable for low FODMAP. Staff were nice and friendly, it was very busy but everything seems to be run very efficiently (you get a little device that lets you know when your food is ready to collect).

Lovely place to visit. Beautiful garden with toys for toddlers. Good walks locally and cafe is well placed for refreshments. Cheese scones were good and served on a traditional plate so can't understand why all the drinks are served in takeaway cups which, I was told, are not recycled.

I’ve been coming to the heritage centre regularly for quite a while. The main reason is for the cheese scones. They are made on site are are delicious. In fact all the food is amazing. I fully recommend anyone passing to visit this lovely place.

I paid the heritage centre a visit last Tues with a friend and had a lovely fruit scone and by chance went in with a different friend on the Wednesday and tried a cheese scone and they've been the best scones I've ever had and i shall definitely be returning.

Beautiful little spot! The tea and cake are top notch and such a gorgeous garden to sit in. It's well enclosed so really good for toddlers, mobile babies, or children to play in the playhouse and an old row boat that are in a corner of the garden.Highly recommend!

Great cafe and heritage centre. There are lovely walks along the canal and the River Trent. Great for dog walking. This is a good place to start and end your walk. It has Great facilities for all, even a lift for disabled wheelchair users to reach the first floor terrace. Lovely gardens, lovely food and lovely people.

Decent cake and coffee at reasonable prices. Nice garden and the roof top balcony overlooks the Beeston Weir on the mighty Trent.
