DON’T COMING HEREWe was in there for just light beer and light bite and l made it clear that l ordered only one light bite but they just gave us 2 plate so we was embarrassed and then we ask l’d ordered only one but they just said us ‘you told me that you ordered 2 and hard to refund bc plates got served’ so we couldn’t do anything and then paidHighly not recommend to come this restaurant who ever planning to coming here it was really terrible restaurant.Don’t waste your valuable time and money in herePlus If you are foreigners or Asian or any other country they will ripped you off for sure so don’t coming here

A lovely looking place and amazing service from members of the staff no doubt. Really helpful and attentive no doubt. Unfortunately I couldn't help but notice that the food was considerably bland in comparison to other equivalent establishments in Edinburgh. I went in with friends and had an amazing time but felt disappointed at the lack of flavour from the main food itself. The service was warm and the drinks, starters and desserts were really great. The main platter was unfortunately a let down due to lack of flavour and taste although great size portions but felt a bit of a waste of time purely on that basis. I have driven by this establishment many times but always looks empty and the night we went it was empty and we couldn't understand why but we know now. Everything was spot on apart from the lack of flavour in the platter.

Fantastic (Halal) food and typical turkish cuisine. You will feel you are sitting somewhere in Istanbul.Mixed grill and meat balls were delicious and mouthwatering.Atmosphere is also beautiful with Turkish touch.Staff was lovely and friendly.Great service.Must try it when you visit Edinburgh.10/10

A great Turkish restaurant offering a range of classic dishes. The atmosphere and the interior design is really nice and the staff are polite. The food was tasty and their menu range is huge, anything from traditional starters to kebabs, they have it. There is no doubt you'll have a nice experience but I'm giving 4 stars as the price around £20 to £30 pounds per person may be too high for some for what you are getting. A mixed grill of chicken, kebabs etc for 2 people is £56. Otherwise it is a really nice experience. Overall, I'd recommend you visit and be mindful of the price before hand.

Recently awarded best turkish restaurant in Scotland 2023!Beautifully decorated restaurant, the lights add to the atmosphere. Friendly welcoming service from all including the owner who took time to make conversation. The food was fantastic and amazingly well priced. We went for the mixed hot meze for two and the mixed grill for two. Portion size was generous. The picture is the mixed grill but we'd already dug in before we remembered to take the picture. The owner was really generous and we got a complimentary bread with dips, a rice pudding dessert to share and turkish tea. This was greatly appreciated and very delicious. For two with drinks it was around the £70 mark and we left full and happy. Great discovery and recommend everyone to try.

Memed Barbecue Grill & Meze Bar
Awesome Turkish food which I love. Though I may say it is my favourite cuisine it was my first experience drinking Raki the local beverage. The barbecue platter was a great choice which gives you an experience with most the dishes on the menu. A must visit for anyone in Newington area of Edinburgh.
