This is a wonderful course, delivered by a brilliant teacher!We learned so much from Torie, who made us feel very comfortable. The sessions took place in a beautiful airy room, and a lovely selection of refreshments were provided. We were made to feel at home, making ourselves a cup of tea or coffee and grabbing some biscuits before sitting down to learn.The sessions were so fun, and Torie went above and beyond to help us: when it was scorching hot she brought ice and frozen treats; when we needed some specific medical advice she gathered lots of great research for us. She has armed me with lots of information and techniques to use to feel better prepared for labour, and she has transformed my perspective on it, from anxiety to excitement.Very very grateful, and highly recommend her classes.Ivonne

Torie is an excellent listener and hugely supportive. In early 2022 she played a really special role in my motherhood journey with my third baby. More recently, I found our coaching sessions incredibly helpful. That's due not just to the coaching techniques but also to Torie herself and the particular energy, empathy and wisdom she brings.

If you're a birth partner considering this course - go for it! I started off with very little idea of what was to come, feeling totally unprepared, and I ended the course with a lot more knowledge and confidence and some new friends in the same position. Torie is a great teacher, and finds creative ways to make it fun and cooperative. I'm now feeling confident and excited about being the best birth partner I can be. Thanks Torie!

Torie led me through a 3 step Rewind to help me with past birth trauma. There were multiple layers to the trauma but she created a safe space and calmly and confidently helped me work through the memories and emotions involved. Torie is wonderfully talented, kind, caring and brilliant at her job. I would recommend her services to anyone wanting to feel more calm and connected to the emotions involved in birth and parenting.

Torie is a fantastic support for any soon-to-be parents. My husband and I learned so much and felt incredibly motivated for the birth of our first child. We were able to put into practise the techniques and tips learned on the course during the labour and, while things didn't quite go to plan (or the multiple birth plans we wrote!!), we were able to remain calm and in control of the experience. What's more, I am able to look back really positively on the birth - something I never thought I would be able to say!Torie is wonderful and continues to be a support for myself and the parents on our course... and I would 100% recommend her course to anyone considering hypnobirthing.

Torie was fantastic - her hypnobirthing classes made me feel more confident ahead of the birth of my second child. Whether you have a set idea of the birth you want or you’re looking for guidance, she can give you the help you need. And whatever happens (as childbirth is rarely straightforward or goes as planned), you’ll be much more likely to have a positive experience thanks to her support and preparation.

Torie was such a warm, compassionate and knowledgeable course leader. She answered all questions with ease and provided a wonderful combination of research-driven data along with anecdotal evidence. She was very clear with what her role was and provided sources for us to gain further knowledge as necessary. The course was well structured and provided with a secure level of understanding of different aspects of labour/birth as well as how to prepare for this and how to prepare for post-natal life. Along with this, for me, this most important part was how empowering Torie was at helping us understand how we have the ability to make choices and guided us on how to do so. From the Birther - Lianne - I attended Torie’s kinship hypnobirthing course in July 2022.I felt very anxious about giving birth prior to the course and after speaking with my husband we decided to try the course as it seemed very suitable for us.I’m so happy we did go for it because I feel totally at ease with the thought of labour now.Not only does Torie teach you how to hypnobirth but we also learnt a lot of the science behind birthing. It was really fascinating, informative and creative!My favourite parts of the course were learning how the body works to push out your baby e.g. all the hormones involved and the lovely affirmation boards we got to make, which I will be taking with me into my chosen birthing place to remind me of my most favourite affirmations and to keep me grounded and in controls.

My husband and I absolutely loved the hypnobirthing course we did with Torie. Torie is an excellent teacher and presents the course in a very clear and logical way, with fun practicals and group work. She’s totally non-judgemental, has excellent resources, has a library to borrow from and makes the best snacks! We felt informed, empowered and very excited on finishing the course. We highly recommend a course with Torie. You will end the course feeling far more knowledgeable and better prepared for the birth and better connected to your birth partner!
