Attended event run by Over Hulton Community Group learning about the terrible mining disaster that happened on our doorstep. Heartening that the story of 334 Men and Boys who lost their lives is now being told and their sacrifice remembered.

Love going with my dog there, so peaceful, my great uncle is on the memorial. The memorial is kept so lovely. Saw a beautiful foal in the fields with mum.

Only found out about this place after talking about mining history on a different walk. So glad we found it. There is loads of history to be found.
