A basic no-frills cafe serving hot, tasty food. Just what we wanted after a ten mile walk along the Ashton Canal! Manage your expectations and you won't be disappointed.

Proper cafe! Only negative is the sausages. Thin things. But other than that it's a proper British cafe with a proper pot of tea. Been coming since a child when it was Chris's cafe. Keep up the good work guys

Went here for a drink. No parking entrance for all people. I went to a table and then went inside to order. No cold drinks on the menu I could see. I had a pot of tea for one. I sat outside at a table. Prices competitive. I will go there again.

Worst breakfast I've had .... ever. Bacon was streaky, it was dumped all over the plate like a car crash and it tasted greasy. I had a cup of tea and with the breakfast that costed nearly £10.... ew. Staff were lovely though

Don't know if the original Bow Street Cafe is still open on Bow Street (I think it is) but they opened another Bow Street cafe in Ashton precinct where the old Bap used to be. Bright and clean cafe and americano was £1.50

Had a jacket potato with beans for my dinner yesterday. The jacket was really tasty and fluffy. I’ve had other food previously from here and I must say it’s one of the best places to go if your hungry or in need to place to hang out and eat
