Enjoyed a lovely afternoon with my daughter at Tropical Butterfly House. A fab little animal park that's well worth the money. We saw some wonderful animals, that are clearly well cared for and the Bird and Butterfly house are amazing. Also, it was so nice to find an onsite cafe with lovely home made food, with healthy options, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Thank you!

Good day out.. came here years ago when hardly anything here then again about 4yra ago and was a lot better this time they have improved the butterfly house and was amazing sat with them landing on us.. I feel the place is better suited for the younger kids because after a hour or two u have walked entirely around it and for the price too for a few pounds more u can go to the likes of Yorkshire wildlife park where its a entire day out and so much more so I felt the price was fairly High for what was here and the size of the place compared to other places that yeah are about £4/5 more but so much more and a full day out rather than 2/3hrs but it was a nice day out. My elderly parents came with my disabled brother and its very up and down and in places steep and the gravel paths also make it hard to push so if ur disabled and come I suggest a electric wheelchair if ur a adult and not a Manuel as it's hard work or if ur more able bodied even a mobility scooter. I'd also suggest taking ur own food and drinks, it's quite pricey I had a bap and my daughter cheesy chips plus 2 hot chocolates and over £20 I was pretty shocked and took over half an hour to line up and get it and this wasn't even a busy day as there is only only one Cafe. But it was a day out and made a change

Not been here for ages so decided to pay another visit. The place has grown quite a bit and for the better. There's a new butterfly house which is really nice and a new bug house on its way. On top of that there are some other animals, mostly birds, to seeA great day out if you have kids and the cafe is really nice too

Great place for a family day out. There are plenty of things to do and places to sit for a rest as you walk around. The reason for taking a star away is you have to pay extra for different foods, and we paid extra to feed the otters, yet they weren't anywhere to be seen! The animals looked healthy and happy and had plenty of room to roam, fly, and swim. Great play area for the children. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, a bit pricey for the food and drinks. The entry fee was a bit pricey, too. When you compare it to similar places, it is on the more expensive side.

I absolutely love visiting the Butterfly House and have a great time trying to find my favourites like Iggy the Iguana.I usually buy an annual membership as I live around 30mins away and as a keen photographer this is a great place to visit and practice my photography skills even if the weather isn't great.

I visited today for the first time with my neice and was pleasantly surprised with the place. It was easy to navigate and all the enclosures were set up beautifully. The animals are clearly very well looked after, a few keepers stood about and told me stories about the animals which was lovely to hear.I paid extra for the meerkat experience and it was so worth it I think I enjoyed it more than my neice did, the keeper was a lovely lady who made the experience really enjoyable teaching us about the group. The gift shop was great and decently priced my neice got a fair amount of presents with her birthday money.I'm looking forward to coming back again in the future.

A good day out, the kids loved it. The butterfly house is amazing. It's hot in there for obvious reasons and takes a good 20-30mins for camera lenses to clear of condensation, but when they do you can get amazing photos of the butterflies.

Good day out . We took our teenage sons and they even managed to raise a smile a few times . Judging by my own experiences with kids this place is well suited to children up to the age of 13 . Definitely a half day place in my opinion but well worth the entrance fee.
