Next time you need matches/batteries/lightbulbs/tea lights/paintbrushes/a screwdriver/keys cutting/dog treats/sellotape/pens/glue/soil/storage boxes/a watering can/a ladder/locks/sockets/paint/a mop/extension leads/cleaning products (I really could go on and on but you get the idea) STOP. Don’t default to Amazon, the supermarket or B&Q. Try Pextons first. Truly an amazing shop that stocks everything you could possibly need. Staff are the best too and very dog friendly.

Fantastic staff who were very friendly and helpful in working out a solution to my DIY problem. Didn't have the piece I needed (it was a long shot) so they helped me construct something else that would do the same job and it worked a treat! They even let me borrow a piece of equipment from them. They also cut copies of keys for me in about 5 minutes. Highly recommend using Pextons for any hardware needs!

Helpful staff and felt very welcome in the store despite coming in 30 minutes before closing. Lots of great tools and supplies to check out and I think they're also having a few sales on specific items(written at this time of course).

Excellent service above and beyond. I asked about a product giving a very vague description of what I wanted and the member of staff instantly researched what it was and gave advice not once but twice. Loved the friendly service. Excellent shop, I can't recommend it enough.

Really friendly helpful staff. Didn't mind us returning the wrong curtain clips and helping us find the right ones. Hard pushed to find a better local hardware shop.

Fantastic local shop that sells all sorts. From plumbing supplies to keys, gardening equipment to watch batteries they have most random items you could require and are happy to order things if they don't have them already.

Exceptional service every time. If you’re on Bishy Road it’s worth popping in just for the cheery welcome and a quick browse. Guarantee you’ll end up buying something you didn’t even know you needed!Generously helped out our local charity with some printing - a service that not even the manager knew they provided until we asked!
