Lakeside SoftPlay Cafe

Been here a few times. My daughter was also allowed to cut her bday cake here and never had any issues. I respond to the way i am talked to. The lady(bethany) you had on her on weds evening was downright rude and patronising. I hold my hands up, i totally forgot my daughter had a lolly in the softplay, she pulled my daughter up on it before approaching me. She came over, slammed a plate on and was so patronising about the lolly. It was an easy mistake, dont be rude avout it. Then when i found her, with her headphones in and kids with ice cream's running all around and told her to go pull those kids and their parents up, she told me to do it. Why am i gonna tell other parents and kids not to eat in the softplay when you pulled myGirl up. Thats your job, not mine. My daughter has outgrown this soft play but i wont be returning. You dont know what issues a person has when approaching them and id think in a space that caters to kids, people would be better mannered. i actually tried to avoid this lady on the way out she must have come running to catch me at the other exit. You only seemed bothered when i mentioned a review and if a customer is avoiding you, you never know what mental health issues someone has, why the hell would someone working with kids and working alone, come running out after you. Wonder what way she'd talk to my daughter if i wasnt in the room. You dont know what needs my child has either. So if you carry on working in customer service i hope you come to realise you dont know what issues a person has, watch how you speak with someone. You chose this job, not me. Dont take your fustrations out on other people or their kids. And no other kid was approached about eating food in the softplay in the hour until i disturbed you, sat with your headphones in. Only then did you say anything to anyone else. People respond to how you speak to them accordingly.

A great place for under 5's without the worry of your child getting lost or trampled on. There is a baby area which is nice so they get to explore too. There is always nice treats and lunches available for the adults to sit and enjoy while the kids go off to play. I would definitely book in advance as it can get very busy.

Kids have have Lots of fun in the little soft play, with tasty cakes and teas and coffee for parents.

A great place for kids under 7 to play. They have food & drink available at the cafe too!

It's not to bad as a soft play a bit over priced though... Its too small to justify t he £6 for 90 mins.

You can measure an indoor soft play from many aspects. Here is my view of this little gem.Cleanliness - 5 out of 5Staff friendliness- 5 out of 5Price - 6 out of 5Parking - 5 out of 5Easiness of patents’ supervision - 5 out of 5Number of kids per square feet - 10 out of 5.I have been to so many overcrowded and overpriced soft play. While kids may enjoy, the whole quality and experience is just adequate.Here, kids have more chances to play slides and toys.Here, staff bring food and beverages to you.Here, parents can truly relax for 1.5 hour.I live 7 miles from here but I come back again and again.Note - it is relatively small so it is more suitable for kids under 5/6.

Nice small softplay for young children but staff was rude and unfriendly

A small soft play and cafe which is great for younger kids, probably <5, as you can keep an eye on them easily. Also do sandwiches, cakes and coffee. Book ahead.

Nice and small soft play for toddlers and babies. There's a separate baby area which is good. My daughter loved the ball pit and slide!Food was good
