It was such a lovely night. I went with my friend to celebrate her birthday. I asked in advance if they could organize a little surprise for her and they brought a slice of wonderful chocolate cake with a candle. They didn't even charge for it!The food was absolutely delicious. I am vegan and we ordered a fantastic platter of vegan sushi, it was varied, creative and tasty! My friend loved her dynamite prawn California rolls. The service was great: Rocky our waiter was so kind and attentive and also the manager was very kind. So recommended!

WOW! I have found a really good Japanese restaurant and from the meal, service and atmosphere where amazing.As soon as we walked in we where welcomed, our kids loves the decor, the trees and flowers which made a lovely feel.Got sat down to the table, light and airy with vibrant colours throughout. The menu was great with recognised dishes from Japan, the food when it arrived was outstanding and a lot on the plate/bowl,Highly recommend visiting and eating here, we did walked in and didn’t book, but recommend booking in advance as this is going to be a busy place.

The food was absolutely gorgeous! My boyfriend and I went and loved it and all the staff were so lovely. The Dynamite prawns and pork gyoza were my favourite. I would definitely recommend. It was also very reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back!! Thanks KIBOU!

Kibou is an amazing addition to the Cambridge restaurant scene. The decor is stunning. It is elegant, powerful but very calming. Ellie and Oliver made us very welcome and, with the rest of the staff, we were looked after from start to finish. The flow of the various dishes is a very relaxed way to eat and gives you plenty of time to savour the stunning flavours. The fish is so fresh and the tempura was light, crisp and perfectly translucent. The wagyu beef was so tender and flavoursome. It literally melted. Thank you for an exceptional dining experience. See you again very soon.

I had a fantastic experience at Kibou, the Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, perfect for a delightful meal. The staff is incredibly kind and charismatic, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The A5 wagyu beef was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend trying their volcano roll. The service is rapid. A must-visit for Japanese cuisine enthusiasts!

We visited Kibou Cambridge for lunch with friends.The restaurant is located in a very nice Georgian House on Jesus Lane.There are two dining rooms on the ground floor.The inner dining room is very well decorated and furnished.The menu is Japanese with a selection of Sushi sharing platters as well as the usual Japanese dishes like Udon, Katsu Curry, Donburi, Wagyu and Teriyaki.There are a number of very good starters also on offer especially the Takoyaki.The food we ordered was both well presented and tasty.Service was just adequate as the team seemed to consist mainly of students, understandably so in Cambridge.However all the staff were friendly and accommodating.We also enjoyed a selection of Sakes and Sake cocktails.Overall we had a good lunch and an enjoyable afternoon.

Wow! Entirely faultless meal and experience at Kibou Cambridge.I discovered the restaurant via Instagram, and it entirely exceeded our expectations.From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service was perfect. I must make a special mention to our waitress Paulina who made our evening. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and recommended dishes we thoroughly enjoyed. She took the time to ensure our anniversary celebrations were made special, and we appreciated those extra touches.Now, onto the food. It was quite simply delicious. Fresh, authentic Japanese cuisine. Every single dish was tasty. The menu is vast and we would have loved to try everything!It was first visit to a Kibou restaurant and certainly not our last. We go to Kibou in Battersea next as it's much closer! Rest assured that if we are back in Cambridge we will return.Thank you to the whole team at Kibou Cambridge. You rock!

Really delicious food, strong flavours and so morish. Our waiter was super friendly, really helpful and we didn't have to wait long to order drinks or food. Definitely on the pricier side, but such a nice spot. I personally preferred this to Sticks n Sushi as there were more options, better flavours, and better prices. For 3 of us (including a bottle of wine), we had around 8 dished (some more expensive like tuna), and our bill was around £215. But I would definitely return. Highly recommend.
