We took our 5 month old labrador puppy to Annie to ensure we were on the right track with her. We've been to a number of trainers previously with our other dogs, and found Annie to be one of the best. She listens to you and understands where you are with your training and where you want to be. She clearly explains what you need to do and how the dog interprets this, before putting it to the test. We've come away with a clear plan, and we can't wait to get started so we can progress to our next session with Annie.

I took Ivy, my 6 month old working cocker, for our first session with Annie at Gloucestershire Gun Dogs this morning; we both came away enthused and prepared for our training journey ahead. Our session with Annie was thoroughly engaging and totally hit the mark. We came away with a detailed training plan to help and guide me in developing my partnership with Ivy. We are both looking forward to these early stages of our journey and look forward to seeing Annie again to guide us through the next steps.

I have just started training a young Sprocker with Annie to work in the beating line. Our first session was fantastic.Annie took a lot of time to understand what I want to achieve, introducing clear and simple steps to prepare me for what is required before getting started with the dog. After this we got the dog out and went through everything Annie had talked about previously. This meant I was able to give the dog far clearer instruction as I understood what was required.Once the session was over. Annie provided an in-depth training plan on what needed to be worked on before the next session. I refer to this everyday to ensure I am doing the right thing and being consistent.Looking forward to the next session in a few weeks!

I had a great session with Annie this morning, advising and instructing me in working with my 7 month old cocker spaniel. Annie spent the first part of the session finding out more about Winnie, where she was in her training and what I was hoping to do with her. She gave clear and helpful advice and instruction and we then had a very enjoyable session working together with Winnie on some training exercises. Annie finished off setting us some targets to work towards over the next few weeks. We are looking forward to having some fun with these and will definitely be revisiting Annie when we are ready for our next set of targets.

Took our 6 month old working cocker to meet Annie and advise us on encouraging Celyn to walk with us and work with us rather than taking off across hill and dale at break neck speed! As 'experienced' cocker owners we were keen to hear Annie's take on our progress to date and even more keen to find a solution to the disappearing dog ...What a revelation! Celyn, as a keen hunter, responded well to Annie's training plan (even if she was the first ever dog not to appreciate ginger biscuits!) Some brilliant (and easy to put into practice) tips that we have been following daily back at home.Within days Celyn has become a different puppy - she hunts with us, waits for instruction and, so far, true to her breed is keen to please. We still have moments of 'rebellion' of course but are now able to deal with these calmly and firmly so as not to undermine progress to date.Would highly recommend Annie to new and experienced working dog owners -we will certainly book another session in the future to progress Celyn's gun dog training.Thank you Annie for your advice - pleasure to meet you and your lovely dogs!

Took my 9mo retriever puppy training with Annie - and what a great session it was. Positive, structured, and progressive. I look forward to more sessions as our experience develops, and highly recommended Annie to others.

Me and my German Pointer 'Rusty' just finished our first session with Annie and will definitely be coming back for more.Annie's love, knowledge and connection with her dogs is clear immediately. She took the time to find out about Rusty and talked through the training plan before we started. I found this a great comfort and helped put everything in perspective.Out in the field, she was patient, clear with her instruction and most of all kept it fun! Rusty definitly could have carried on much longer than I could! We can't wait to carry on the sessions with her. Thank you Annie!

My English Setter and I had a fantastic first session with Annie this morning! He is three years old and I adopted him in January from a rescue in Greece. He has settled really well, but we need some structured training to redirect his prey drive and natural tendency to cover large areas in order to train reliable recall. After an initial chat about what we wanted to achieve, we moved into her secure paddock where we worked through some basic handling and then some directed hunting and finding amongst the reeds. We both had a great time and learned a lot, plus we came away with a homework sheet to refer to as we build on this first session.Really looking forward to progressing with this and would highly recommend Annie to anyone who thinks their gundog may benefit from her skill and advice.
