CS Watersports

I bought my boyfriend a kitesurfing lesson for his birthday, which Craig cancelled last minute due to lack of wind. He then refused to refund us the money. There was no info anywhere to be seen on the website or on the invoice regarding a cancellation policy. I’ve tried kitesurfing schools all around Europe and this is the first time this has happened to me.

Had kitesurfing lessons with Craig. He has very thorough and structured style of teaching and goes far and beyond to ensure that you get on board! So far this was my best experience in kitesurfing lessons. There was tremendous progress after two hours of training! We will continue our lessons with him!

We are from Australia and booked a kitesurfing lesson and paid in advance.There was no wind in August, therefore we had no lesson, which can obviously happen.However VERY disappointing that the CS Watersports school does not want to return our prepaid money (300 AUD) ! ! ! We are leaving tomorrow and they simply don’t reply to us anymore.

We had lessons with Craig and this the best learning experienced I ever had! He is very passionate about what he is doing and professional of the highest standard. He can get you on board quickly and in safe manner. I DO recommend this school!

Absolutely fantastic!!I'm 47 and had never kitesurfed before, or flown a big kite.Craig at CS Watersports walked me through every step from flying a beginner kite on the beach, through to taking the 8m out in the water with a board. They supplied all the equipment which was of the highest quality and fully explained and demonstrated all of the safety procedures, from setting up your harness to setting up the kite and lines, launching, landing, recovering a crashed kite as well as an emergency self recovery in the water, along with kitesurfing etiquette.He completely put me at ease and was ready to answer any questions I had. Through Craig, I will now be buying my new equipment with full confidence and returning for advanced lessons.I really cannot recommend CS Watersports enough.

Had an incredible kiting session with the legend Craig himself! Hayle Beach is a beautiful spot for an improver with a flat lagoon to get up and running again.We only got to do 1 out of 2 sessions because the wind turned (as is the UK) but felt super safe with Craig and his team reading the conditions. Hope to make it back to use the postponed session!

Be sure to check these guys shop out when your next in Newquay.. Craig and the team are super friendy with amazing knowledge of the local area. The team run a top notch kite school and be sure sure to get yourself a Bro Jacket...The warmest coat I've ever had!!!!

Enjoyed a great kitesurfing session here, thanks to Bodey for all your help on the day! I rented full equipment from CS watersports and had the estuary to myself for a perfect afternoon in 20 knots! Highly recommend! (P.S. top tip: make sure you check the tides, as I arrived at low tide and needed to wait around for it to come in for c. 1hr before it was ridable).

Got my hands on a Ion wetsuit from CS watersports and after its first outing I cannot fault the product Craig recommended to me! He listened to what I had to say about my previous suits and recommended the perfect size/thickness and model of suit for my sport (kitesurfing).I cannot recommend the shop and Craig enough for the product and service I got, I will be back for sure for gear and lessons. 10/10

This is a great school, no matter if you’re a beginner or want to work on new freestyle tricks - Craig’s the right person for that.
