I will never let anyone I know do the same course as I did here. Tutor was emotionally abusive and played favourites. Other students got to arrive late with barely a mention or not shoe up at all. Not to mention they got to do projects related to there interests were as others were heavily chastised for it.The year above got everything and we got the scraps. I cant even explain the amount of toxicity in this place absolutely crushed any self esteem I had. Lied to your face that your project was good only to tell you after it was submitted it was terrible after previously praising the very same things there now criticising. The main tutor had no time for people with disabilities. (This has no reflection on other staff members i had two that im not naming that helped me in lessons who were the god sent. I'm pretty sure there the only reason I did well in college.) He far to busy with the previous years students to care about are work. Constantly let them take up are classtime for there projects.Dont even get me started on how the food vouchers didn't sometimes cover the cost of food. If your lunch was scheduled late good luck getting the few sandwiches that fit in budget. Its was luckly I had a relative in the area I would of gone hungry on many occasions. I dont knkw if this has been improved since my time here. Most of these complaints carry over from both the college and university. I still suffer from the bad habits I learned here my mental health tanked and to top it off even if I wanted a job in the field I studied for 4years I was barely prepared for it. Most of the job listings in this field list requirements that we were never taught.Side note they also can't organise anything it was always fun turning up on the first day to find it wasn't actually the first day after not being able to get in touch with tutors. Literlly played round robin to get a start date, only to get a sheepish message of my tutor after I spent money on bus fare ect to get there what the correct day was.Tldr this place kills your dreams and tanks your mental health. Wouldnt wish this place on my worst enemy.

Cant believe what i witnessed as a student in this place. The most horrible place to study in the city. Finished my course about 2 months ago and have been recently called in to finish outstanding work" when my tutors have checked my work multiple times and have agreed that my work up to the highest standard possible. They now want me to come back mid way through summer holidays because of outstanding work. RIDICULOUS! I have paid for multiple trips that have been organised by the college however have been cancelled and did not get my money back which is a absolute joke! When i applied for the course I have been told that i will be spending loads of time in the gym to prepare me for the future

Started my foundation degree course in 2020 for Computer Science and can not speak highly enough of one of my tutors.Elly Foran will go above and beyond for her students and she is a real gem to the College. She was always there if you needed help with anything and is an understanding and wonderful woman. The staff at the University centre were friendly and the food there was gorgeous. My only downside to my academic experience there is through no fault of the tutors but the real lack and options of Student work placements in 2021.

If I could leave zero stars I would! Unprofessional, inappropriate, misogynistic and bullying beauty tutors ! Don’t deal with complaints in an appropriate timeframe . Staff gang up on students . The head of department covers for inappropriate staff . Better to pay for your own course privately AVOID BEAUTY COURSES HERE

Great college. Lovely tutors-friendly and approachable. Coming to the end of my course now, gonna miss the place. Decent prices in the little cafe, won't bankrupt you. Apparently the coffee is nice or so I've heard-not a coffee fan myself.

I did a level 3 NVQ in Business Admin and this course is amazing. The tutors are wonderful and supportive . Just got my first professional job and couldn't have done it without them. If you are looking for a course this one is perfect couldn't recommend it enough. Dinners are nice especially the chips and chicken box and the cleaning staff are lovely and friendly. Dunno if she's still there but Pat the supervisor was an amazing lady loved our little chats. Fab college.

Don’t waste your time with the makeup course if you want a makeup qualification, enroll at a real university - unless of course you enjoy partaking in primary school activities like mixing paint on sheets of paper and drawing shapes all day like we did xx
