Moortown Montessori Nursery

Cold and ignorant management. Never reply to emails, do not arrange meetings about the safeguarding of my child, I have been waiting since 19th September but nothing. I had to ask for an injury to be put in to the accident book!! Twice my child has said bye to the manager and twice been ignored! I have given notice and have informed ofsted, I have given notice yet even when the manager was infront of me she told myself and another chlds parent that 'supposed to be my day off, but you know' like it was a chore, either be there and be happy or don't, plus still no acknowledgement my child was leaving but she didn't say hello or goodbye so why should she. There are much much better places to put your most precious people, and this is not the place. Do your research!

My Grandson attends the Moortown Montessori Nursery 5 times per week, some full and some part days. Cold and Ignorant Management" I have never witnessed

My daughter attended here for a number of years before starting school, we moved her here having been disappointed with the care she was receiving at another local nursery (Mullbery Bush) where she was for a few months. My son is currently here 4 days a week. I’ve always found them friendly and professional. They’ve always works well to deal with any behavioural and health issues. The management have don’t an incredible job during the pandemic and when I speak to friends about their experiences at other nurseries I’ve felt luck to be where we are. I googled them for some reason the other day and was shocked to see the rating, seemingly dragged down by a couple of bad reviews. It’s such a hard desision choosing somewhere to trust with your little ones… I’d recommend this place in a heart beat.

Awful staff members. Unwelcoming and rude. Would recommend staying well away from this nursery. Manager is lovely though.

Our 11 month old goes here and loves it. The staff have been great at developing his confidence and he seems to really enjoy his time here. We get a good level of feedback from the staff on how his day was and any issues. Always very good from a safeguarding point of view.

A great nursery our little boy has been there for neary 2 years and he could not be happier. So much learning and fabulous staff to bring them on. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Yorkshire Montessori Nursery company to anyone.

As an ex employee and how I seen the running of this place. I would avoid working here and I definitely would never send my child here. You are paying for a Montessori brand, but you’re child is not receiving anything different from a standard nursery.To top it off, the owner wrongfully sacked my wife when she found out she was pregnant and she had the audacity to make up some excuse/ lie, and the only connection my wife was to the incident, was that she was the room leader to the member of staff who made an innocent mistake. My wife did not want to start any legal proceedings to avoid stress due to being pregnant.Furthermore, we informed the owner Helen that we were in the early stage of pregnancy, but that we aren’t telling anybody else as of yet, she then only went and printed it in the newsletter without our knowledge and before we had reached any safe stage of pregnancy.She would also regularly take her dog into the nursery. Which is against many health and safety guidelines.There is a very high turnaround with staff so your child would probably have the key worker changed quite regularly

My son has attended this nursery for two years and is really happy here. Staff go out of their way to address parental concerns, give regular feedback and they are very welcoming. Management have provided us with support during the pandemic and have shown much kindness. The quality and range of activities my son engages in are impressive and support his next steps. He particularly loves the forest school, outdoor area, messy play and spending time with his friends. I love the way the nursery is structured to support the Montessori ethos and as a result my son is thriving. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

My son has attended this nursery since he was 10 months old. Now at nearly 4 years, I can't recommend this nursery enough. The staff are engaging, knowledgeable and have always encouraged and helped my son through any of the difficulties he has had. I feel like I am listened to with any developmental help I need or even just an ear to bend, not only by the staff but especially by the lovely manager too. My son has had over 3 lovely years here and I highly recommend it.

I feel sorry for the staff.Seem to care more about the paperwork then looking after the children.I understand this has to be done. But I’m more then sure the staff to child ratio isn’t right.My child seemed to always be having accidents and she never does at home.Always picked her up with a snotty face and dirty mouth.Since I’ve taken my child out of here, she hasn’t had any accidents. Coincidence?I just feel like she gets looked after more at her new nursery.Also I didn’t feel like there was much development.Yeah, I would look elsewhere if I were you reading this. So many more nurseries which you can tell your child enjoys, also much fairer priced.I don’t often write reviews. But I feel my voice needed to be heard to at least help another parent with their little child
