Lovely conversion to restaurant, bar, cafe with extensive cheese and cider shop. Food quite expensive given what it is. Service willing but poor communication given warning of 30 minute wait for food from kitchen. Should keep guests informed and have someone clearly in charge.

Stopped in just as they were closing. Staff member was extremely helpful, told us not to worry about the time. Organised a little tasting and tell us about the cider. Shop and cafe looked great. Will arrive earlier next time (good idea to book for food apparently). Definitely a good detour when in the area.

Very tasty food and drink. Helpful & friendly service. Only thing was some mains portions were a very good portion (the beef stew) and some were on the smaller side ( the ploughmans) so be careful what you order if you are hungry, but all the food was delicious. The cider & apple juice as you would expect were fantastic.
