Dream Car Park
This car park is actually situated on King George V playing fields in Sutton Manor. The entrance/exit is very tight allowing only 1 vehicle in either direction at any one time. There is enough room for approximately 30 vehicles but it is rarely full.Access to the area containing the dream sculpture is across the main road, it is quite busy however the crossing points make it nice and safe. The area where the dream sculpture is situated is on the land of the old Sutton Manor colliery. There is a vast open space to explore with lots of different paths and routes to make it to the top. It is a great place to take dogs or test yourself with a run up and down the hills. It is accessible by prams and wheelchairs however none of the paths are paved so it may become hard going. There are lovely panoramic views of the surrounding area from the top as well as the imposing sculpture itself! A Rocky-style run up the steps is a pre-requisite!My family and I frequented this area during lockdowns as the massive open area makes it easy to socially distance even though there are generally quite a few people there at any one time. It has now become affectionately known as The Big Head in my house!

Awkward entrance/exit if you have a larger car and especially if other drivers have parked opposite it. Small too, we were unlucky enough to go when it was a scout day out. Struggled to get a space.

From the car park cross the road and enter the trail leading to the Dream Sculpture. You can also walk to Clock Face Country Park. Lovely views all around on a sunny day. Recommended

Dream Car Park
Car park is shared with a nearby green open space with a children's play area . I reckon at certain times of the day it could be busy.

Dream Car Park
Just a short walk across the road into The Sutton Manor site thanks to its rich human and industrial heritage as a former colliery, its new forest setting, and its prominent location beside one of the UK's busiest motorways, plus its views across Cheshire and Lancashire to Snowdonia and the Peak District.
