They have repaired and altered a couple of my rings, one of which had been badly repaired previously by Deacons in Old Town. I would thoroughly recommend Iles. I always take my Tag Heuer watch there for it’s batteries as well. Thoroughly recommend them.

I needed my wedding ring re sized and after having contacted the retailer from where I purchased the ring and they told me that they could not re size palladium rings I contacted Iles who told me that they could, and what a great job they did! My ring has a brushed finish and after wearing it for only a few days after buying it new it developed scratches very easily but after having it re sized by Iles it is in much better condition. You cannot tell it has been re sized, with no sign of a join and the brushed finish is so much better and has not scratched anywhere near as much as before. A top class job with great customer service.

Fantastic local jeweller's shop, nothing too much trouble! From fitting a watchstrap to complicated jewellery restoration.Bought and sold there for years! Always fair and friendly, cannot fault service or prices. Highly recommended.

I needed a repair to be made to the bracelet of the watch my late wife gave me. The part that was needed is no longer available so their staff managed to adapt a replacement part and combine it with the original. This means that the bracelet looks as it originally did. Fantastic work.

Fantastic old school service...all the big chains want to sell the watch and give no after service. No replacement straps just told go to the brand's website. Iles are brilliant. A traditional family business that you should support before you lose it. New strap and battery and checking out another strap for a different watch for me. Avoid the big brands at the outlet and go to Iles.

I recently visited the jewellers to get an assessment on a military pocket watch for either service or repair to get it running again. Prior to going to the jewellers I took the back off to see if there was anything I could do, there wasn't so I knew what it looked like. After the jeweller had looked at it I was told it required a new balance spring I took the watch home and took the case back off to make sure that it had been put back together okay before deciding if to go ahead with the repair. To my horror I found that 3 screws were missing, retaining plates for the mechanism were not secure and there were other issues. We went back to the shop to speak to the jeweller/owner about our issues with the watch, all we had was bad language and shouting from the jeweller to my wife and I, along with various hand jestures and told where to go and not to return again. The issue about the watch was over and not open for discussion from his point of view. If you want basic jewellery repairs, watch batteries and strap changes this jewellers is for you. I personally will never go there again. Read the other reviews on watch repair and decide for yourself !!!

I had my wedding, engagement and eternity rings made 3 sizes bigger. The quality of the work is amazing and it was all completed within 2 weeks. You can not see anything we're they have been made bigger.

I’ve just picked up jewellery fromIles jewellers and I’m more then overwhelmed with each item. I went swimming and ruined my favourite Tiffany ring which they’ve managed to clean and looking New, I lost my Tiffany bracelet and found it broken and black in my hot tub filter ((three days ) i don’t know how They’ve got it looking new but I’m so happy with my jewellery all looking Sparkling clean. I will definitely be telling all my friends and family to use Iles jewellery. The lady be hide the till was very polite and caring. Once again thank you for outstanding and fabulous job done

These guys are hands down the place to take broken jewellery to.
