Sowton Park and Ride
So handy for the hospital. Very helpful bus driver too. Saved all the angst of trying to park a vw camper near the hospital. Tricky seeing the signs to it off the junction of m5 though. Followed the blue signs which helped.

Usually plenty of parking spaces here, and convenient for city centre or Exeter hospital;s. If you are visiting the latter, be aware that it is not a free service even if you have a bus pass. Often queues here at busy times and only limited shelter. Buses often held up by heavy traffic so allow for delays.

Terrible, lucky iv given them one star . You have to wait 20 minutes for the bus , and thats if they haven't stopped one .we waited an hour for the green bus in Exeter.

The parking bit is easy but waiting an hour for a bus into Exeter is no joke. Absolutely shocking service. Never again.

Using the bus to the Wonford Hospital for outpatient treatment and was slightly surprised to have to pay £3.50 return cost as I have a bus pass being a pensioner. Bus driver said that there is a £1 discount as a pensioner but not free.So a bit confused at why this is the case surely a bus pass should be free like all other bus journeys I’ve been on.Update. I have used this service again in August 2023 and was only charged £1.50 return so maybe it’s changed but still costs even with a bus pass.

Sowton Park and Ride
Excellent car park with plenty of DISABLED Parking Bays, the bus timetables are adhered too spot on. We had to go to the Nightingale Medical Centre where we were dropped off and picked up from and returned to Sowton Park and Ride. A five star service.

Not fit for purpose, buses don't run to timetable, 1 didn't turn up for our inward journey and 2 never showed up for the return journey !!

Fantastic, £2.50 return into town. The bus service is regular with friendly drivers. Plus its pretty near empty around 9am and just so damn convenient!

Convenient P&R, but the route into the city centre is a busy one, so do not expect a quick transfer to the centre.
