Called customer services about insurance policy details being sent in postal services and the anticipated arrival of paperwork to be exact of expected standards to confirm Internet quote details against actual policy small print AS A PRINTED HARD COPY! Was given a late arrival date at worst and was pleasantly surprised by a sooner postal delivery date detailing contract policy. THANKS AXA INSURANCE!

This company sent a so called Gas Safe registered engineer out to fix a fault on a combination boiler. One of my customers a 79 year old lady. Instead of repairing the faulty boiler he chopped down a bush out side then left quick sharp.I get a call six weeks later. As soon as I arrived the lady complained of generally just feeling unwell. She had a lovely 15 year old Romanian rescue dog there who everyone knows in the area. Dora, her doggi had been puking up and not been well too.Carmel then started telling me she had been fainting, dizzy, couldn’t get off the sofa or pick up the phone to call loved ones.I ran the hot water on the boiler and plugged in my flue gas analyser. It went of the scale in parts per million in carbon monoxide.Carmel has been up to hospital and is ok. High levels of carbon monoxide in her blood but the fact its not winter yet and she walks Dora quite a few days saved her life. She was going to turn her heating on and I nearly dropped the visit for a week later as its super busy.Following up Gas Safe our regulatory body are investigating and taking it seriously. Carmel and Dora are doing well and I am very relieved I made that call.

This insurance company needs to be shut down. THE WORST insurance company ever. Don’t ever make the mistake to use them for your insurance. Poor service, poor communication, half of the employees aren’t doing their jobs.Been trying to get my business vehicle repaired for 4 months - losing out on so much earnings due to this and as my insurers, they have done absolutely nothing to help me get my vehicle back. Half of the time I call and they don’t know what’s going on with the vehicle of where my vehicle even is even though they collected it back in July!?Pathetic company.

Awful company who ignore emails/calls etc when it doesn't suit them. My car was stolen and involved in a theft in October 2022 - police found it abandoned back in Bournemouth with items missing. I put in an immediate claim of lost items with AXA (Swift) which was acknowledged. Since then Nothing has been done about this claim and I have just opened an email saying they will look into it within 30 days! This is Jan 2023. I had a call last week from them on the back of a survey I filled out and was told Apologies

AVOID Axa. I have been trying to deal with them since my accident in March of 2021. I was hit by another car which was not my fault. All evidence proofs I was hit, but my claim is still open. March will be 3 years. They gave my case to solicitors that are rated 1 star. These solicitors never return calls or emails and even AXA themselves can't deal with them. My case was through out of court because the solicitors had no clue what they were doing. I have had to pay much higher car insurance because my case is still open and AXA does not care. So do yourself a favour and avoid them

Watch these guys, they offer to give you a refund of excel is £250 if you have a claim, they get you jumping through all the hoops to supply all documentation on your claim which is done on an online portal, a month later, 3 messages later & you get no response. Not even a contact number.looks like a scan to get you signed upI’ve now escalated to the financial ombudsman to look at this

if I could put 0 stars I would. I am a new driver and have only been driving since January, I used AXA as my insurance company as they were the cheapest at the time. I have had nothing but awful customer service from them. I had an accident on 26th June this year, rung them up the following day to report the claim as they was closed by the time the accident happened. The claim is still ongoing and its been nearly 6 months, Had my car repaired in August and was given a courtesy car which I had for 4 weeks. The total amount of my repair cost was £1500.00, my excess was waived due to the fact that the accident was not my fault and someone hit me from behind. My claim has been left in there hands, and I have had NO communication from them whatsoever, I am constantly writing complaint emails which they take at least 2 months to reply to, I am constantly ringing them and being left on hold for over 1 hour and 30 minutes before it cuts off. My no claims has been affected due to the fact that I made the claim, so now I have zero no claims which my insurance has now gone through the roof. I have tried ringing them the last two days to find out if there's an update. In total I have been on hold for 5 hours, and only speaking to someone once.I will never be using them ever again and I certainly will not be recommending them to any family / friends. Absolutely disgraceful how they treat there customers who pay a lot of money to be insured with them.PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Please avoid this company at all cost, they lie about the policy and when submit a claim they refuse to pay you for the first THREE months you can not claim even if it was recommended by your dentist within three months they refuse to pay you, I took the policy in April 2023 and had two filling in November and they still refuse to pay my claim. it's a complete joke, I wish they let you cancel the membreship which makes me sick to be even with them scammers..................... Bupaaaaaaa all the way from now on...
