Specialized Rutland Water

Just received excellent customer service for a few issues with my new bike. New pedals fitted, a tricky screw removed and replaced and water bottle relocated. Thank you so much for your help and patience.

After a day off work and a 60 mile car journey, I set off from Sykes car park on a beautiful warm morning. After a few metres I realised that the right shifter wasn't working properly and there wasn't obviously wrong with it. I knew the Giant store wasn't too far away, so I cruised gently there. After some initial discussions, Mikey at the workshop said he would have a look at it. He quickly discovered there was a corroded cable and he could fix it there and then which he duly did. I very much appreciated the attention I received and that I was able to get back on the road and made my day truly worthwhile. The cost was reasonable too. Thank you Mikey and the team.

We hired electric bikes from Specialized Rutland Water at Normanton. The bikes were easy to use and we had a beautiful day to enjoy riding the circuit at rutland waters. John was exceptional with his sevice to us . He helped us choose the correct bike and was very kind.

My fist visit was to hire an electric bike to keep up with my friends out on a ride.Hire was fast and so easy with minimal fuss and the boys sized me up with a Specialized bike. I loved it so much I decided to bite the bullet and get one.I went to lots of shops and went back into the Rutland water shop where John helped me out. I took my time but upon finding the right bike and him helping me with no obligation to purchase from them as their attitude is they just want you to get the right bike, I set my sights on what I wanted.I found a deal online and again John bent over backwards to call head office and price matched an awesome bike they had in stock. I paid a deposit and they ordered it, built it and talked me through the set up even setting my seat for me which took 3 days! So fast!I went back later in the day after being out on it and asked for my handlebars to be cut down which they did right away.I honestly cannot emphasise how friendly these guys are here. There was no pressure to buy and they know their stuff.If you just want advice go and see them. If you want a decent bike go and see them.Go for the knowledge, vast stock and accessories, come back for the great customer service.This is my new favourite place for everything bike now!Thanks guys for all your help.

Took my Levo in today for irritating brake issue I couldn’t sort out thinking I was going to have to book it in and pick it up next week. Left 5 minutes later with the bent brake disc having been fixed by the brilliant Mikey. Great service, great explanation and very friendly team. Many thanks Anthony

A few days ago, I took my small grandson’s bike into the shop on the south side of Rutland Water. The poor boy was killing himself trying to learn to ride on a bike which appeared to be permanently locked in high gear whatever position you tried to adjust it to. I fully expected to be told the bike was past its sell-by date. The three staff could not have been more helpful. Thanks to one of their engineers, Uldis, they had spotted the fault, rectified it and I was out again 5 minutes later. No Charge! I can thoroughly recommend them and they made one small boy very happy
